Sheesh, the end of last month was a difficult one for me. I didn't even get to my own challenge!  I wanted to get this posted tonight, because I have a consultation with a surgeon tomorrow for my back. I THINK we will be starting with therapy, but it never hurts to get a second opinion. Hoping I will feel up to scrapping this month. I will have plenty of time, since I can't drive! Anyway, enough whining from me...now, let's have some FUN! Welcome to monthly Sketch/Scraplift challenge! Each month, I will post both a sketch, and a LO for you to lift, or draw inspiration. I'll be including something for both 1 page scrappers, as well as 2 page scrappers, and some of the LO's can be modified to fit either one. I like seeing the creativity of changing them up! I think it will be fun to see what you pick, or if you decide to do both!   As you know, in scraplifting/using sketches, your LO's can end up looking exactly like the inspiration piece, or you can let your creativity run wild!  These are just jumping off points to get you rolling. Have fun, and link your LO's back to this thread so that we can all see your piece of art and give you some lovin'!  grammadee |

 My first layout for October is based on the single page sketch. Sketchtember has made me realize just how much I love sketches!! Thanks for the challenge KikiPea! I hope you get some relief from PT. |

MDscrapaholic those leaves look fantastic! Love the colors of your page and the big title and banner tag. So pretty! KelleeM those wood leaves  such a pretty page, love the doily and 3x4 card and nuvos!

Thanks, KikiPea, for setting this up every month. I love that scraplift page, and both takes on it here. IRL, falling leaves make me depressed andshivery, but I adore them cascading down a page! I have 3 days blocked out next week to scrap, so hoping to give both of these a try. I’ve been on a card making binge, but it is time to get back to the pages. That Florida vacation album will not make itself! |

This is my layout for the Scraplift challenge. I took the photo today, talk about being up-to-date! Yay me! I felt like a bit of a knob down at the lake with my selfie stick though.   LO done, LO shared, #6 Stick It, #13 Stay current, #14 Download it + extra for photo taken today, #18 stitching & buttons, #20 flowers, #21 paint, #22 pre-made words, #28 buttons, #32 splatter, #38 Nuvo dots, #43 ribbon, #54 stamp TOTAL POINTS = 15 And if I had found the pen for my Wacom tablet, I would have got an extra point for using my own handwriting. |
