I am totally off prompt. We left town for the weekend to attend a concert. Dh’s car broke down Saturday on the way to the show. We limped back to our hotel but couldn’t find a mechanic open on a Sunday to look at the car. Luckily, I packed an extra white tee and some undies! We took the car to the dealership and they will have it repaired in a few hours (a coil went bad). I’ll have to wear today’s OOTD another day...I’m bummed because I was looking forward to it!

No pictures for me today. I volunteered this morning in the local food bank's garden and am leaving in a few minutes to help a friend clean out her garage and shed --- just old jeans and a t-shirt today.

I am for the first time dressing on prompt. I have subbed in from my closet. I have on a black/cream plaid shirt, black cardigan, boyfriend jeans and my Timberlands (raining and cool) no mules and added a tan greige crossover bag. I got the Halogen Tasseled leather bag for $59 at Nordstrom Rack and I love it.
I also wore my tan field jacket from ON. I think burgundy footwear would have been a good swap too. This is a new relalation since I joined the GYPO, before becoming a member I'd have never not matched my shoes and handbag!

I’m off prompt today, because of my anti-gingham stance. I’m wearing Day 6 instead, because that was a work day for me.  But, it’s been an exhausting day running errands, and I’m currently sitting my ass on the couch while my husband unloads the flooring we just bought, so here’s the photo you get: I did decide to keep these shoes, and really liked them with the outfit: |

I didn't wear the prompt today as I was crafting all day - but for those that did, did you wear a black cardigan with your navy gingham? How'd you feel about that? Looking at the prompts, it just felt weird when I saw it.

This was my least favorite day so far. I just felt frumpy. I substituted a plaid for the gingham, but it still did not really feel me - and when paired with the boyfriend jeans I felt like a farmer.

I forgot to take a picture, but I really liked my outfit. I found a black and white plaid popover at ON, paired it with jeans and brown comfy shoes. I ended up wearing my burgandy vest instead of the black cardigan because I was out running errands and it felt more relaxed.

Gosh, I wanted to play since I have on a b&w checked top with dark jeans on today. Then I saw that was yesterday. Silly question but are there prompts and where are they? I am finally on the side of losing weight and getting rid of old clothes and adding new ones. I need inspiration!

Gosh, I wanted to play since I have on a b&w checked top with dark jeans on today. Then I saw that was yesterday. Silly question but are there prompts and where are they? I am finally on the side of losing weight and getting rid of old clothes and adding new ones. I need inspiration! You can still add a pic today even though you weren't following yesterday's prompt. The prompt many of us are referring to are from "Get Your Pretty On" (or GYPO). It's a website that offers capsule wardrobes for each season. You use your own clothes (shopped either from your closet or from any store of your choice) and each day it suggests which items to wear together. Getting the list of items and the daily prompts is a paid program ($39 per season), but worth every penny! You also get access to a private FB page where many people are posting pics of their version of the daily prompt, and encouragement & opinions. You should check out the GYPO Website for more info. My affiliate link for the capsule is HERE or you can purchase the capsule right from the website. Even if you choose not to buy into the GYPO capsule, you should still post your daily outfits here. Thank you all for sharing everyday! I joined the GYPO fall challenge but haven't been dressing on prompt as often as I would like. I have some shopping to do yet. I think the black and white gingham shirt is my favorite so far so I really liked yesterday's outfit!

I really like the gingham on other people, just not on me...yet! And it’s been hot around here, so I’m still wearing sandals! Off prompt, but still mostly Fall wardrobe pieces. Here’s my last two days.   |

The outfit I put on this morning sort of went to hell. I wore my olive colored jeans and a black tee to my hair appointment, but by the time I was done my jeans had stretched out to twice their size and my black tee had that “itchy shirt after a haircut” feeling. Does that happen to anyone else? Anyway, I chucked the whole thing and put on an olive top, dark jeans, and neutral mules.  |
