I’m on prompt today, except I have a gold pendant instead of the tassel necklace. And I tried to get my face in there, because I love seeing everyone else, but, DAMN. I can’t contort my hand enough to hit either button, and still get both my face and shoes!
On on a side note, I bought some duck boots this weekend, and I’m looking forward to wearing them. Any fans of that style? Tips?

 This is the first day that I’ve worn a fall looking outfit and I still had to shed my sweater before noon. Everything is from my closet except the leopard mules-I had some leopard flats, but wanted to add some with a pointy toe. |

They have kept my feet dry and warm for the past 2 years. I got navy because they looked cute while in store. I've received many compliments on them. I would have purchased the LLBean version but wanted the instant gratification. I still want the LLBean 6" traditional brown boots!!!!! |

I didn't get a picture today - we had to get on our way early this morning because of a big snowfall (which made our commute awful - 2 hours & 10 mins for what's usually about 45 or 50 minutes). I wore the prescribed ootd but didn't love it.
I really need to find a pair of olive dress pants that I love. I don't really like the ones I have.

With all our snow they are sometimes a necessity. I love them. They are so comfortable and warm. |

Day 10. I just don’t love the chambray shirt on me. Stripes on the inside, cardigan (not gray - can’t seem to love that, either) on the outside. Happy Hump Day!  |

I am totally off prompt today. Not a huge fan of chambray so I’m always looking for a reason to sub it out. And today will be too warm for 2 layers, so I’m doing my own thing 😏  Pam |

Dani - I'm loving the swap with the gray striped tee under the chambray. My chambray is too bulky to wear under my gray/white striped sweater, I have the JCF one and it's pretty thin, like t-shirt material. I need to figure out how I'm going to adjust that outfit. But, that's for another day because...
I'm still a day behind because of the wardrobe issues related to our weekend/car break down/longer weekend adventure. Here's my versions of day 8 which I wore yesterday and day 9 (wearing today).
Loving day 8, still one the fence about the teal and olive together. Although it's finally warm enough to wear my $4 cashmere sweater, so that makes me happy.

Everyone looks great! I wore my outfit, but it's 87 degrees here! Thank God my office is always freezing. Chambray top and jeans in 87 degrees is a bit much.

I am finally trying to figure out how to add a phot from my phone. Here is my outfit for today. My shirt is actually a light chambray. I don’t have a gray striped cardigan so I subbed this one. You really can’t see but I am wearing gray jeans. I didn’t like the way my metallic slip-ons looked so I subbed gray ones from my closet. My necklace is my work ID. DH says we have a selfie stick somewhere at home. I might have him look for it it is so much easier posting on Facebook than it is posting here. We will see if I did this right.  |

I can't say that I have seen a single version of the outfit with the gray and white JCF cardigan, chambray shirt and gray jeans that I love. I'm just not a fan of those three pieces together. Looks good on paper, but not on people. I've seen some great subs though!

So today I wore every GYPO outfit and about 75% of the rest of the clothing I own 😂. Seriously.. I spent four straight hours sorting through totes and pulling pretty much everything out of my closet. And the best part is that it will be in the mid 80’s for the next week 🤷🏻♀️ But I am really ready for fall now whenever it gets here!
And as a side note, I was surprised by how reluctant I was to get rid of things not in my capsule. I got rid of a cardigan last winter that I am kicking myself for now. So I kept asking myself “will this be in a future capsule 🤔”. I have plenty of space to store things, but it felt counterproductive to keep so much. But I did convince myself to return some purchases when I found subs in my packed away stuff or decided I didn’t like the final outfit, so there is that at least.

I ditched the chambray under the cardigan yesterday as well - I wasn't loving it to begin with and then realized it was going to be too warm anyway. I subbed a blue tank. I've swapped today and tomorrow as I have plans tomorrow evening and thought the flower shirt combo would work better than the tshirt with scarf.
