LisaDV - I followed you back on Instagram. . I hope you find the house of your dream soon! One that will be a new “home” for you all. Grandkids are doing better. Still taking the nebulizer for breathing treatments but boys can go back to school tomorrow so that is good. Baby is doing better - not perfect, but better. Thank God! I will post some pics here tomorrow so you all can see the little cutie with his two older brothers. I have one more layout in need to take a pic of and then going to scrapbook a couple of my new grandson before going back to wedding pics. Hope you all have a wonderful week and those not feeling well, get better!

This thread is not coming up for me any more. I have to find it by looking in a members history. What have I done wrong? I looked in my privacy setting but didn't see anything that could have caused it.

@elaynef, have you bookmarked the thread at the top where it says actions? I can't imagine why it doesn't come up. But I'm not very savvy when it comes to the settings. It is now under Challenges rather than just General Scrapping. Could that be it? You have to be able to find us. How's the remodeling going? Are you coming to the end? justlisa7, I'm glad the children are improving and hope that the baby continues to heal. Those little ones don't have a lot of strength to fight off big germs. Hugs and prayers for all of you. justjac and grammadee, I can't believe how much you accomplish at a Crop. You are so fortunate to have Crops to attend and to have each other to enjoy all the festivities. I'm anxious to see what you have accomplished. woodysbetty, I love the page about your home. I'm sure there will be things you will hate to leave. I'm glad you scrapped it. knutschen, I hope you get a lot done at your Crop. When you get home, let us see your pages. Your jaunt with your animals dressed up sounds like such fun. I'm sorry your allergies are acting up though. I'm sure you are enjoying your new kitties. LisaDV, you are still in my prayers to find the perfect home. DD saw home after home go way above asking price and their bid would be lost. Her Real Estate lady asked them to bring their children with them on one outing. The elderly woman selling her home loved how excited the children were about the garden area and accepted their bid on the spot, for the asking price. She wanted a nice family to live there. That was definitely an answer to prayers and they have loved the home. I know there's a perfect place for you...I just hope it doesn't take too long. Hang in there! kellyr21, you know how much I love your palm trees and wish they would grow here, but today as I drove DH to radiation, I saw how beautiful all the trees are in the valley right now and am grateful that we have our kinds of trees too. We have a maple that is bright red and there are bright oranges and yellows around us. I know that Angie loves the year-round flowers but misses the Fall colors. Are you doing some painting? msliz, patin, joyfulnana, I'm sending warm wishes and happy scrappiness!

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a nice day. My dh won a free ticket to the World Series home game tomorrow!!!! A couple of days ago, his job had a drawing for world series tickets for four lucky employees. He wasn't sure he wanted to enter but I said go for it and see what happens. So today, he found out he won. They are great seats plus they are paying for his parking and food. How awesome is that? I am so excited for him to go and know he will have a great time. I hope the Dodgers win the game too. I told him to take a few pictures cause I gotta scrapbook this. nylene- Yes, I am working on a new painting. I did a test a week or so ago and it was hard. So I hope with some practice I can get it going. Drawing a profile face is hard so I will be practicing tonight. Hope you are doing better. justlisa7- I hope your dgs are feeling better. Glad they have you to love them through it. knutschen- Great to see you had fun at the pet and pumpkin event. That sounds so cute. The movie deal sounds fun too. I haven't been to a movie in like forever. LOL! I wish they played more old movie classics in local theaters. LisaDV- How is the house search? Praying you find your dream home. grammadee- Have a good trip with your fam. Hope the weather is nice for you. woodysbetty- Thanks for sharing the yoga info. I am gonna check out the download about loving kindness. I love the whole teaching on self compassion and it has helped me not be so critical of myself and more loving. Waving hello to al you Peas and have a nice evening!

kellyr21 - that is soooo awesome for your husband!! He is so lucky! That was really cool of his work to give that to 4 employees. Btw... I am Red Sox girl here!! Just loved watching the first two World Series games the last couple nights! We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at Fenway Park. 😊

Happy Thursday. Sorry the thread got lost on you @elaynef . When admin set up the new Challenges board, she moved all the current challenges into it, including the Pokey Peas. I wondered about leaving it there, but didn’t move it back until most of the Pokeys had already found its new home, so we left it with the challenges. I am glad your boys are feeling better, justlisa7 . Excited to see a page with photos of them with their baby brother. The oldest little guy here has been fighting an awful cough all week. His mom had to take him to the doctor one evening. He is on nebulizers too. Activity seems to aggravate his condition, so we have been doing a lot of artwork, lego playing and movie watching. Starting to feel better—well enough to start fighting with his brother lol. Today he was able to play outside for a couple of hours. Good luck with your new art project, kellyr21 . I am sure it will turn out beautifully. Looking forward to seeing a pic of it. Congrats to your dh on winning the World Series tickets. The only professional baseball game I ever attended was a Dodgers game. Had to be at least 25 years ago. Our family loved the experience. I hope he takes lots of photos for you to scrap. Your cards and pages are good to see, nylene , especially when you are going through stressful times. I noticed a couple more pages in the gallery. Hoping to get there to leave some love before too long. I love the colours of autumn leaves. Sadly, ours have been gone since the beginning of the month. The weather is quite warm and dry for this time of year, but without snow everything looks pretty dreary. Not that I am wishing for snow, mind you. I hope that your dh will be able to find the perfect home LisaDV , once he is in situ. Word of mouth with other employees may help him find something before it actually hits the market. That pets & pumpkins event sounds like fun, knutschen . Glad you are enjoying your kittens. We have yet to replace our farm dog. My sister in law had a stray that dh almost accepted this week, but it was a young male (under a year) and we are looking for an older female. Hopefully we will get one soon. woodysbetty , how did your dh’s surgery go? My dh has follow up testing the end of November at the clinic where they inserted his stent a year ago.

I finally found a moment to read through all the posts here. I love catching up with all of you. Big hugs nylene. I've been so busy driving around with my DD20 with the health issues. She's really been pushing herself lately to go places and do things every day, but it's a lot for me to manage along with my other responsibilities. She's in so much pain by the end of the day, but she keeps wanting to do more. Her self motivation is pretty awesome, so I'm just trying to keep up with her as best I can. LisaDV, I hope your DD has fully recovered from her motion sickness. I know what you mean about needing a whole week to recover. This week we took a 2 hour drive so she could visit her twin at college and see the campus for the first time (her sister has been there for more than 2 years). She's even studying to get her driver's permit. She probably won't get her license because of her vertigo and sensory issues, but she can have some fun in an empty parking lot. We're leaving now to run errands and go out to lunch. Maybe I'll scrap tonight? My projects are moving ahead in slow motion!

Thanks, nylene...I didn't know it was under challenges now. I haven't posted much, but I've been keeping up with you all.
I am not over my virus yet, still have a low grade fever. I am trying to finish up my redecorating. I got some new plants today. We had a very fun trip with the grands last week in spite of all the rain and flooding in the area. I hope to share some pics of all that soon.

Look after yourself, @elaynef. A persistent fever can’t be good. Would love to see pix of your camping trip. I am amazed at everything you moms have on the go, I msliz, hope the extra effort your dd is putting in will help her develop new skills and confidence. And LisaDV, I hope your dd is feeling better now. The anxiety about the move probably doesn’t help. I have moved on to my other son’s home. The little guy cried when I left today. It was lovely spending all that time with them. I guess if you are going to be cooped up sick, a good person to spend your time with is Gramma. This weekend will be busy. We already carved pumpkins. I am driving my dgd to swimming in the morning, then watching one of the little guys at hockey. The 15 yr old plays two competitive out of town hockey games this weekend. We will be driving out to see at least one of them. Completely different pace here with everyone in so many activities.

Hey there Pokey's! grammadee that's so sweet and sad that he cried when you left. Mine asked me last week if I cried when he left and told me he will miss me, be he won't cry lol. Kids are so funny! nylene, hope you two are doing alright, and things that are starting to look up! woodysbetty I hope your DH is doing well after his surgery! My weekend has been spent sorting and photographing all the kids artwork and school papers to finally finish the school books I started back in 2011! I'm ready to have that project done and in their hands. These are the only books they get until I'm gone and the only ones I trust them with lol. I'm also ready to have those totes out of the closet and dealt with. It's a beautiful day here today and I intended to get out and enjoy the weather and take some fall photos, but it was a Chiefs home game day, so I opted to stay home. Hopefully next weekend will be nice and I can try again. I haven't done much in the way of scrapping this month but wow some of you ladies have been going to town! That's awesome! grammadee and justjac hope you had fun at the crop! Waving hi to everyone and hope you are having a great weekend!

kellyr21, how exciting for Ron! I hope he took pics for you. grammadee, are you still making the grandkid circuit or are you home scrapping the photos you took? @elaynef, I hope you are feeling better. msliz, It's so great that DD20 wants to go and do. It hopefully will build up tolerance and stamina. But HUGS to you. I know how badly our heart hurts for our baby's when they're hurting. I hope that she will be able to go and do more. My DD is now on to our phase 2 of her healing process, (different pills and regimen) she has to have physical activity for 30 minutes a day. Well, when you've had a few years of inactivity due to chronic pain, 30 min. is a lot and makes you hurt, she's done 4 of the last 7 days, so positive progress. woodysbetty, please let us know how your dh is doing. Waving hi to everyone else! I'm still plugging along. Just trying to get life under control. We took our chickens in to be butchered last Saturday. Although I don't miss going out early in the cold to let them out, I do miss them. It just seems so lonely outside without them. I got a migraine last night that finally subsided this afternoon. I think it was from lack of sleep. But my list of things to do for today got barely anything checked off. And I love to check things off. So I'm hoping tomorrow will be a good catch up day. Wishing everyone a very good week.

Good Tuesday morning, Pokeys. I am home from my GRAND adventure. Feeling pretty dozy this morning. Drove to Edmonton in the morning yesterday, then did "my thing" there: printed photos, had lunch, picked up a SB kit a lady had held for me, and hit Costco. Was home by six. Fell asleep watching Wheel of Fortune last night, and then just put on my pj's and crawled into bed, but was awake for over an hour around 3:00 AM. You would think I was jet lagged, but can't use that excuse since I never left my time zone. Dh is off helping his nephew sort and load calves for shipping, so I have the house to myself. My plan is to bring in my scrapbook supplies from their long road trip and photograph my pages from our crop a week ago. Pretty gloomy here today, but I want to get that done so I have today and tomorrow to upload and share the pic's. How is your organizing/sorting operation going, joyfulnana ? I avoid organization of any kind, but I like the idea of photographing the artwork and documenting it. Wish I had done that for my kids. Have a few pic's of the dgk's school projects, and some of the fun projects my ddil does with her kids, to scrap this round. Hope you are feeling better, LisaDV . I had a few headaches this past month, but not as many since I had my glasses readjusted: they were pretty twisted from falling asleep with them on. I need to take some sinus meds this morning b/c I am feeling pretty stuffy right now, and that leads to headaches, too. If a sinus infection is the only thing I picked up from my toxic grand kids, I think I should consider myself lucky! Sad about your chickens. I love the sound of them "talking".

Can you believe that we are at the end of the month AGAIN. It seems to come so fast. I will start the November thread tomorrow night or Thursday morning. grammadee, glad you are home again. I don't know how you keep up the stamina needed to do so much traveling and scrapping. I'm glad you had a great time at the Crop. I'm anxious to see those pages. LisaDV and @elaynef, I hope you are both feeling better. joyfulnana, I am impressed that you photograph the children's artwork to put in an album. I wish I had done that. woodysbetty, How is your husband doing? I hope that things went well and he is healing. msliz, I am glad your DD is getting out doing some things. I hope she doesn't overdo. I'm sure driving around in a parking lot would be an adventure for her, even if she never gets out on the road. I am so impressed with your heritage project. What a treasure for your family. justlisa7, Congrats on your 25th Wedding Anniversary! kellyr21, Congrats to Ron on the tickets. HOw is the painting going. I can't wait to see what you have learned about doing profiles. Sending Happy Fall wishes to justjac, patin, and knutschen.

Wow, the end of the month already! And almost the end of the year! I can't believe how fast the time goes! nylene and grammadee , the photographing is going pretty well. I was one of "those" moms that saved nearly everything they brought home. I've got grade cards, school worksheets and writing projects, 2 big tubs full lol. But it's going pretty quickly, although I'm still having a hard time tossing things even after taking the pictures. My mom gave me a bag full of my school left overs a year of so ago, it was smallish, and it was nice to look through but I don't want to hang on to it, so I'm trying to keep that in mind for the boys. They will both be here over Thanksgiving weekend, and I'm thinking of letting them take a look before it goes away. LisaDV I hope you are feeling better and got lots done on your list! I'm not sure how I would feel about the chickens, I would probably get attached and have a hard time sending them to the butcher lol. I would be dozy too after all the travel and a crop grammadee . Take some time for yourself too! msliz my mom tried to teach me to drive in an empty parking lot. It did not go well! lol. I hope your DD has better luck! I didn't even post my pages in this thread this month and I know I didn't comment on everything. I'm hoping to do better with that in November. Happy Halloween to everyone!
