Dd needs a new insert for her duvet cover. I don’t remember if her cover is full or Queen or full/Queen. Her bed is a double. I am having trouble finding a full sized insert. She complains about a lack of feathers anyways. Should I put a Queen into her cover?

Yep, totally can. I have a king duvet and buy queen or king covers depending on price/availability.

Just know that it'll be lumpy.

Yes. We always put a king into our queen cover. It was never lumpy, just nice and fluffy.

Yes, comforters are often sized as Full/Queen.

I've done it before, but it was gaping a bit where the closure/buttons were.

We have a king duvet insert on the queen bed in the guest room. It works great!

This surprises me. I went from a king to queen bed a couple of years ago. I put my king comforter in a queen duvet and hated it. I must like my stuff more smoothed out. Ended up buying a new king duvet, put the comforter back in that, and have king bedding on my queen bed. I love it...it feels very decadent

I don’t remember if her cover is full or Queen or full/Queen Just measure it, and then look up what size that is.
