I'm not sure if anyone has posted elsewhere about the drive this year, but I just read the post at Vera's blog and she's asking that people only send up to 100 cards this year. Just thought it might be good to highlight that for anyone who has been making cards to donate this year. The drive is on - cards should be mailed from now until Nov 10th. If you are participating, please notice she needs the cards to the collection points by November 10. That's a whole week earlier than last year. Certainly changes my plans and means I need to get myself in gear now.

I'm a little shocked they have limited the numbers
I have made 150 therefore I guess my "friend" is sending some cards as well.

My friend and I have done this for the past 3 years, working with the Activities Director. If they receive cards through the Caring Hearts Drive, well, the more the better. |

The nursing home that is local to me has way to many residents for me to be able to do enough for the facility. And I am in Canada I don't think where I am the caring hearts is sending cards. I assume it's more local to where the cards are sent. I am doing enough cards for where my father lives in his facility. |

Thanks for posting this. I’ve never participated before, but I might get to this year since I’m ahead of schedule on my card making this year.
I do plan on making cards for my dad’s new place. We just moved him into a senior housing complex and they have a card box in the lobby. So we’ll see how far ahead I can really get!
