I order photos every month. That's my strength. I keep memorabilia and photos organized so that when I do scrap, I know where my stuff is.
What's your scrappy strength?

My scrappy strength is in my Project Life book. I can get a month done at the drop of a hat (mainly because I print at home). I know ahead of time where my memorabilia is & have everything (including photos) stored in big envelopes, ready to be grabbed and put into a book.

I’m “caught up” in that with the exception of about 6 mo that I have my life regularly documented in some form or fashion since 2005, including both of my kids from birth to present. It gives me the luxury of going back and highlighting stories I want to tell in more depth but there is something on a page or in a pocket for those times.

I need to do this. I will be this person going forward! I’m okay with not being caught up, because some of the major subjects are. I’m going to enjoy going back in time to work on old pictures. My strength is that once I’m organized, I work fast. I can get a ton done at a weekend retreat if I have my stuff organized and a plan on paper. It makes one of my friends jealous/mad every time, because she is a very slow scrapper.

My scrappy strength is that I continually keep in mind I am creating pocket pages (and the occasional full page layout) for fun and to have a reminder of memories. I only have myself to please, so sometimes that means just getting the photos in with a little journaling and sometimes that means getting creative with embellishments and techniques.

I am super organized.
ETA: At the end of this month, my oldest is buying house. I am inheriting (is it inheriting if I paid the mortgage for 25 years?) his 14' closet. I already have a 2 x 4 Kallax and am going to get a 4 x 4 Kallax for the other side of the closet. I make kits and currently have enough paper to fill both of them. I have already measured how much paper will fit in them and how many more Iris containers I need to use up every inch. When I retire from teaching, I brought home dozens of nice storage containers with nice snap lids. Those will be great for the embellishments.

My scrappy strength is that I buy more than I need...
Seriously though I am super organized. Guess that comes from a background in Library Science.

I am very organized, too.
I sort all my photos into envelopes as soon as I receive my print order, so they are ready to go.

My scrappy strength is that I’m pretty focused and always finish an album or project before starting another. I never have unfinished projects laying around. I used to always print my photos right away. I’ve gotten bad about this and want to get back doing it again. I’m

I guess my strength is that I don't agonize over papers and embellies. I can gather stuff pretty quick and just run with it and get a page done within an hour.

I can do a pretty good Nuvo dot Wow, that's like a superhero level scrappy skill. Mine always look like little piles of bird poop, even from brand new bottles, and no amount of tapping helps. I can remember where nearly everything in my room is, who made it and how much I paid. It really doesn't help me get any scrapping done, though.

I write a good story on my pages. There's always loads of journalling!
(Totally jealous of all your strengths, especially the photo printing and organising....)

I think my scrappy strength is flexibility. I can switch gears, switch styles, make the supplies I have work, or see the possibilities in new papers and techniques. I can get old and new stuff to work together. I can start with the photos, start with the story &/or the title, start with a collection, start with a sketch or a product challenge. I have collected enough stash that I always have options, and I am ready to use them! I really identify with something kelly8875 said: I love being a scrapbooker. I don't see this as something I have to do, it is something I enjoy doing. And I have a bit of coloradocropper's strength as well: I don't agonize over the details much: I kind of just let it happen!

I think I'm pretty good at clusters. And titles. But that's really subjective!!! I'm not organized...but I know where everything is

I do Layout a Day three times a year. I can think of stories to go with the prompts. I can switch to digital if I'm traveling. I’m not sure what to call this, but it’s what I’m good at.

My scrappy superpower is planning out my LOs and albums. I have my monthly system down with custom planning pages that I created. If I'm doing a project that focuses on a limited number of photos I always plan it out before I start so I know exactly what I'm doing for each LO.

I can justify any purchase. I guess my real scrapping super power is that I am content with my own style and what I get done. I don't feel a need to scraplift or copy anyone else. I don't care that I am slow, and that I will probably never be "caught up" with my scrapping. I don't feel a need to follow a trend if I don't like it. If I like what I've done, I glue it down. If I don't, I play with it till I am happy with the result, and the time it takes to get to that point does not matter.

My scrappy strength is....that I believe there is no right or wrong way to scrapbook. To each, their own. Don't worry about the latest trend or what someone else is doing. Fill your scrapbook pages with whatever you like. Use the items, products, colors, styles, etc... that you like.
