Silhouette has 40% all products (besides machines) right now. They still charge shipping, but it is a good deal for those items you can't find for a good price Amazon. I needed one of those black replacement cutting strips to keep as a backup and even with shipping, it was the cheapest. They also have the Pixscan mat on sale, but I don't need that just yet. everydaysavvy.com/silhouette-america-birthday-sale-40-just-everything/

So, has anyone tried any of the Starter kits, like the stamping, heat transfer or rhinestone kit? If so, how did you like it?

I have tried the stamping kit and it worked okay. You are supposed to use pigment ink with it. It cut just like the video on Youtube. It doesn't work for detailed stamps, just bigger shapes. I have both the rhinestone and heat transfer, but they just sit here.

Thanks for your thoughts on the stamping kit.
My DD says her sister-in-law does a lot with the heat transfer material. I may have to try that one.

I have to say I use Siser Easyweed heat transfer vinyl and it works great with your home iron. I have heard it's the best and easiest. I have made several shirts for my kids. I did adorable matching Mickey Ghosts with glow-in-the-dark heat transfer vinyl when we went to Disney last year for Halloween! Here is more info on where to get Siser if you are interested:

I ordered the stamp material because I want to give that a try. I was thinking of creating something with my own handwriting. I've also seen comments from others about it not doing well with really detailed images.
