Maybe you gals knew how to do this, but I found Els's video really helpful. She backs the whole front of the card, (and of course is showcasing the Elisabeth Crafts tree die) but I can see this working with any cut away card front that you want a bit of a diecut shape to overlap the edge. I have often wondered how to do one of those without having special card dies. Technique Friday with Els

Thank you for the link. I finally watched it last night, and I liked not only the technique, but how she used the adhesive paper. I have some, and I really haven't known (or remembered) how to use it.
