Lol. Was there a new release while I wasn’t paying attention? I pulled into my Costco parking lot and this was my “nearby” list. However, funny thing was that none of them appeared in Costco, only all the same ones I see all the time. I even exited and reloaded the game and it still appeared like this. Lol  |

Yeah, today was a good Pokemon day. I leveled up, got some new Pokemon, finished up the special research...
It would have been better if I hatched some of the regionals...

We got a few here. Bidoof (dd already evolved one), starly, and turtwig, plus we did a kricketot raid. We saw chimchar on the nearby list but didn't get to it in time. Others around here found piplup but we didn't see one. I also got a 5k egg that I hope is a gen 4 starter and a 10k egg that I hope is Riolu.
I'm just waiting on the pokemon storage upgrade now...

They have started to roll out gen 4. More regionals, unfortunately. It seems Pachirisu will be regional to Canada, so I'm trying to convince DH we should go to Canada on vacation next year  |

I drove home from Costco via a local park but the only new one there was Bidoof. My son called me to say that for the first time ever he feels out of touch because he doesn't know this generation at all. lol... My Pokemon-obsessed son (when he was younger) stopped at Gen 3 apparently. lol

I am so irritated they did not increase storage at the same time they released Gen 4. I know it's coming but the lack of storage has been an issue for months and with community day coming on Saturday, it needed to happen already.
Unfortunately my son fractured his finger yesterday so my Pokemon time was limited to a couple minutes in various parking lots walking to and from medical appointments. So far I've caught Turtwig, Bidoof, Buneary, Starly and Kricketot. My Pokedex says I saw a Piplup but I don't know when that happened.

I'm always afraid to do that because then the one that I used a berry and ultra on will turn out to be the new generation's Ratatta or Pidgy  -- So I'd feel like I wasted them. |

I'm pretty sure Bidoof and Starly will be very very common. Possibly Kricketot as well. Starters are Piplup, Chimchar and Turtwig for gen 4 and after this initial release they probably won't spawn as often. Similar spawn rates to Torchic, Treecko, Mudkip, Chikorita, Cyndiquil, etc. I think gen 1 starters are actually spawning quite often these days.
Right now starters and shiny pokemon are the only ones I'd use golden raspberries on.

My first raid was only a couple of months ago and I found a someone who has shared the ins and outs. I did did catch a shiny Bulbasaur yesterday. |

Good luck with Beldum tomorrow. Hope everyone gets lots of shiny ones! If you want the exclusive move you have to evolve beldum into metagross (2 evolutions) within an hour after the event ends.

I got 5 shiny beldums, so I am a happy girl! I like to have one each stage.
Hatching eggs quickly was great, even though I didn’t get anyone exciting. I have 2 10 eggs I put in right before the event ended, so hopefully they will be good.

my child was super super excited that Fog as a weather was added!! it always shows sunny when we are under a thick layer of fog. and we don't get rain for 6-8 months of the year.
the only reason she can get out the door at 8:30 am was for community day. dressed up as team rocket and met her group downtown.

I have the Canadian regional.
Caught a shinx today and finally got my celebi, that excellent curveball took me weeks to get.
Got three shiny beldums toda6 and enough candy to evolve two completely

I am loving this sync thing - getting credit for walking without having pokemon on! I've been walking a LOT in my home*, wishing I could get credit for it. Now I am and I am hatching eggs so much quicker!
I got a fitbit and it has you get 250 steps every hour. Sometimes I only get that. Sometimes I get 1000. I have done it in my home for a number of reasons - too hot (Phoenix), not dressed yet, trying to get it in quickly between tasks, shoe problems etc.

How did everyone do on Gengar Day? Did 6 raids, got 2 shiny, and 6!! shiny pinsir. But the shiny caterpies are eluding me. Plan to play for 4-5 hours today (DD is at a sleepover, DS is visiting his girlfriend and DH is working). Hopefully, I'll be able to hatch Riolu as well, although I doubt it. It took me more than a year to get Miltank and I have this sinking feeling Riolu might be just as difficult to hatch.

I got one shiny Gengar and I think 4 shiny pinsir today. DS got 2 shiny gengar and I think 3 or 4 shiny pinsir. DD had to work so we did her account for her, and she got a really high IV shiny pinsir and no shiny gengar, but she did get a 100% regular gengar. We didn't try to hurry today like we did the legendary raids so we only got about 16 raids done today. Great for XP since we used lucky eggs. I cracked the 1 million mark on my way to level 40.  |

I stayed home yesterday. So exhausted! One of my dogs is having issues. Age? Senility?
It started with needing to leave lights on for her at night. Now, it’s as if she is afraid of being alone. I end up sleeping on the couch just to keep her from barking every 15 minutes. We think she may have lost a fair amount of her hearing.
She’s still happy and enjoying life. Sleeping on the couch wouldn’t be so bad. However, I also have a spastic Pom who can’t make up his mind if he wants to lay on me or not. One of the cats decided that kneading me was a great idea at 4 am. Just after Lil Bit settled in, of course.
Anyway, I need to go out today if I want to keep my daily task streak going.
Have you seen Gyarados or Tyrantar (the green dinosaur looking Pokémon) in the wild? That is what my group has been reporting. That’s where someone showed they caught a Mrs Mime, so...
