My friends dil is coming to visit and I said I would help her figure out some gluten free meals but she said she was also concerned about IBS .

Easy GF meals are a protein (beef, chicken or fish), a veggie or two (or green salad) and potatoes/rice type starch. Fruit and many ice creams/sorbets are GF too.
Udi's has wonderful GF French bread baguettes and rolls, if you want to include bread. Usually they are found in the freezer section at my Safeway or Whole Foods. Udi's regular sandwhich bread is just ok but better if you toast it a bit a head of time or perfectly fine if you use it for French toast.
For the IBS, I would probably ask your guest what type of things they avoid.

What the devil. That is not the picture I put on my avatar!
that was so strange. I came on tonight and there was something like a kiwi with a heart shape for my avatar. I can't imagine where it came from.
