Here is my sketch for Saturday October 20th. (I realise it's not quite Saturday where most of you are, but it's already 3pm Saturday here!  ) This is a PageMaps sketch. You can do a double page LO or choose only one side if you prefer.  This is my take on the sketch. I used the Christmas Season kit by Lindsay Jane:

Wow AussieMeg, amazing LO! I love the glitter garland with the brads and the stitched circle, beautiful colours too. Your actual tree looks fabulous as does the dress you're wearing and the blue & white one your stunning daughter has on too. Great work! Beautiful layout! I love your Christmas colors...great reminder to me that it’s summer there while we’re freezing and often buried in snow! I find it so weird now! I haven't been home for Christmas day for years cause (it's way too expensive!) I find it so odd when it's hot! I've been here in the UK over 20 years now but probably spent at least 4 or 6 of those years at home in NZ but Christmas just seems to fit better in winter to me now. Mind you, when I do eventually move back home I will just make Christmas in summer work and probably do some midwinter Christmas celebration too  Cause why not have too Christmas dinners?!! |

I love your Christmas colors...great reminder to me that it’s summer there while we’re freezing and often buried in snow! I have a feeling that Lindsay Jane (who made the kit I used) is Australian. Even though she does a lot of stuff in traditional winter Christmas colours, she also throws in a few that work well with my summer Christmas photos. I've bought a few kits from her for that reason. Your actual tree looks fabulous I'd love to claim credit for that, but it's actually my stepmum's tree! She always does an amazing job. And her mantle over the fireplace (you can kind of se it in one of the photos) always looks fabulous. Beautiful layout! Fab work stinkerbelle! Love the circle with the photo on it and the burlap leaf, so cute! AussieMeg, we are waiting out the cat. He is 15 so way too old to be moved to the other side of the world. Of course, when he does go we will have a billion things to get done to the house, things we've put off because we don't want to disturb the cat so it will probably be a year or two after the cat dies when the move actually happens. |

Used this awesome 2 page sketch this morning. It was perfect for my photos and papers. Hope to get it photographed before the end of the month. I get home on the 29th.
Will be back to leave love later in the week.
