I have Kelly rae Roberts book "taking flight" and Misty Mawn's " Unfurling" . I enjoyed both of them...but they weren't exactly what I wanted at the same time LOL.
Are you wanting techniques or something more..IDK..wordy about finding your inner artist?

The one for techniques which is great
Surface Treatment Workshop by darlene McElroy & sandra Wilson. Huuuuuuuuuge number of things to try in this one.
Claudine Hellmuths Collage discovery workshop is pretty good too.
Have another good one, but it's out on loan at the mo with someone......not sure who.

IDK..mean I Don't Know LOL
I think you would enjoy both of the ones I have then. You can go to amazon and read reviews and sometimes there are the "look inside" things you can click on and it lets you see a few random pages. I have heard that Dina Wakley's book are great. I have them on my wish list.

I second Claudine Hellmuths Collage Discovery Workshop....so much good info. about techniques and making art in general. I also love Scraptastic by Ashley Calder. The main projects are mixed media scrap pages with really different techniques that could be applied to various projects. I hope that helps! my blog: Artful Scrapbooking
