that as to be the strangest ever!
But I kind of like it Like an updated version of The Munsters, but with cooking. Creepy baking, with Muppets; a mummified cat, a werewolf and a roadkill racoon. It's all very odd.
The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell 6 episodes on Netflix.

She is all sorts of amazing, isn’t she? I love her! Her stuff is right up my alley.

I like her work, but I don't think I could ever make any of it, so intricate and detailed...and then someone eats it! It's amazing to watch though.

I’ve followed her in Instagram for a long time. I was so excited she got a show. She is all kinds of awesome.
ETA: she has a cookbook out called Deceptive Desserts. I’d like to get a copy.

I've never heard of her until a few days ago. Someone in a FB group mentioned that the cat looked liked Devon Rex...so having one, I decided to check it out and a whole new world of baking weirdness opened up!
I don't do instagram but I'm looking at her posts now. Totally amazing & so creative.

My friend would divorce his husband to marry her. His is over the top in awe.
I like what I have seen.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think this is something I would love to watch. I just checked her Instagram and wow her work is amazing. The Freddie Mercury cake is incredible!

I'm going to disagree with all of you. My daughter and I tried to watch it and thought it was the stupidest thing we have ever seen. We didn't even make it through the first episode. Her final product is good, but the approach to me is just unwatchable.
To each their own!

I read some reviews and it said to persevere past the first episode...I've watched the first 3. i like quirky things though...who would have thought to add Muppets to a baking show? That sort of creativity always interests me, so I'll be watching the rest and embracing the stupid, while musing "who comes up with this stuff?"

That bone thing was the stupidest concoction I've ever seen. Who would eat that?? Or is it like sugar sculpture and such where you are not expected to eat it?? She did keep mentioning it as a party food though. Her baked goods look spectacular. The set is cool. But, just nah to the rest of it.
