Need opinions. This is my brother and his son on Easter. My brother raises rabbits so he brought a couple babies in the house for all of us to play with. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) The dirty yellow sweatshirt is killing the cuteness of this. Should I turn it black and white? Or black and white with spot color on the bunny? ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/thumbnailer/CKGUlXaYLCPkmrapGRnT.png) Thoughts?

I would do black and white, no color.

I would go all black and white, although honestly I didn't notice the dirty sweatshirt...

I would keep it in color, yellow sweatshirt and all. I don't think it detracts from anything.
If you need to go black and white, I would do the whole pic, bunny included.

i didn't notice the dirty bit either, but if it's all you yourself can see, then get rid of it. i'd keep it in color but crop in a bit to lose the dirt. i think you're going to lose the bunny if you go b&w because he's so similar to the color of your brother's hands.
very sweet photo!!

My brother works at the same company I do, so I see that color sweatshirt everyday. So I think that is where my eye goes. I want to focus on the adorable bunny and boy. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) There are 2 more pictures in this grouping, so I just have to scrapbook them in a way that "hides" the sweatshirt.

Can you recolour it a bit with some editing? Otherwise I'd probably just ignore it - it's a cute picture.

Try both.
I think it's possible the bunny gets lost in the simple B&W photo but you'll need to see for yourself.
Personally, I would crop the photo so the dirty sweater is mostly gone (and the hands would frame the scene at the bottom more tightly which would be a nice way to emphasise this sweet moment). It's a lovely picture and memory so don't overthink the dirty spot.

I would crop it at his bicep and leave it in color. Cute picture.

Adorable photo! I would not be bothered by the dirty sweatshirt.
You could cover it with a journaling spot.

I think the dirty sweatshirt is part of the story. I kind of like the colors in the picture. I wouldn't make it b&w.

I would leave it full color if it was mine. I see that yellow color daily at work and home, it doesn’t phase me one bit. Plus it’s just colorful, and I love color photos better than black & white.

I'd leave it, if it is part of who he is. Some people get dirty in their work and hobbies. There is no shame in that. On the other hand, there is a photo of my son when he was 3 years old or so that my mother just LOVES! Why? It was taken on a camping trip in the morning and my son managed to get ahold of the marshmallow sticks and thought he could roast more marshmallows. The fire was out the night before, but there were still ashes and of course the marshmallow sticks were sticky and charred. He made a mess of himself. He then went to the door of their camper and a photo was snapped. My normally clean son was snapped in a photo that showed him looking like a filthy little Dickensian child. If my mom liked the photo because she loved the idea of the camping trip (she did not) or the cuteness of him trying to make more marshmallows.... I'd be fine with it. Nope. She splashes it out whenever she wants to show off her WVA roots. It irritates me to no end. So, if your brother is normally straight off a GQ page, I'd try to clean it up a bit, but if that's who he is, keep it ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

Thanks for all the answers. I think I will leave it color. I want to try and scrap more black and white photos, but just not this one. That dirty sweatshirt is who he is. Farmer to the core. His wife hates that sweatshirt but then realized when she looks out the window, she could tell who was in the tractor because of that color. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I was wishing Joshua (nephew) had grabbed the grey bunny instead of that brown one, just because it would have shown up better in the photo. But that is the bunny he HAD to have, if someone else was holding it, he asked to hold it again and again and again. He never wanted to hold the grey one. So I did. I need to work on my selfie skills. lol ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/thumbnailer/LHbVaLuiqvnpzxlCtLEH.png)

Going to go out on my memory keeping limb and say, since this is a father and son, son may one day look at the photo and remember dad's sweatshirt. It might bring back other memories.
If you are scrapping this to be artistic, then crop it but leave the color. For me, I would leave it as it is.
