I pretty much got distracted the past five days and haven't kept up with CARDtober, but I have a good reason! I have been working on mass producing cards, most of which are holiday cards. In fact, over the past few days, I've made nearly 150 cards. Here are pics of all of them. Those are great cards! They are all very cute!
If you are on a team, they probably still count for more points than you think. And if you are not on a team, you can play along in November if you have time.
I will have to forego the November challenges. I have too much going on.

Wow, that's a lot of cards! Good for you!
I love what you did with the CTMH beary Christmas papers - I used those last year but not as well as you did. What's the luminous navy foliage design? That's to-die-for beautiful! Very much my style.

I went on vacation and never got back into the swing of things. I go in my craft room and I just don't feel like making anything. I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to complete CARDtober. {sigh}

What's the luminous navy foliage design? That's to-die-for beautiful! Very much my style. It was a "Cut Above" card kit from CTMH last year called Merry Everything. It wasn't a full kit with a stamp set. It just included the 10 card bases, the die cut circles, and white envelopes for $9.95. I love those types of kits because I have loads of holiday sentiments already and don't always care for the included stamp set. Since it was in last year's holiday catalog, it's no longer available, unfortunately. You might try Ebay though. Here's what the kit looked like.  |

Great cards. I went on vacation and never got back into the swing of things. I go in my craft room and I just don't feel like making anything. I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to complete CARDtober. {sigh} I was away from home for 11 days. The first weekend was a crop, but although I had my card making supplies with me, the focus was on trying to complete an album I want to copy for Christmas gifts. Didn't finish the album, but made pretty good progress. The only cards I worked on were backgrounds. Then during the week with my dgs's one of them was sick, so no spare minutes for card creation there either. Now I am home, have unpacked my crop tubs, but not my mojo... The good news is that the CARDtober challenges are not going to just go "POOF!" at midnight tonight! So when the spirit hits us to create cards, we just need to check out the challenges, their samples, and the other cards the peas created for them. |
