Here is a sketch for this week from the scrapbooknerd blog. I tried to choose something that could be adapted to 8.5x11 without too much trouble. Sorry I have no sample layout (I'm a slacker like that lately lol) I wanted to add a twist for challenge team players, but there are already so many challenges this month. Thanks, joyfulnana . The numbers and stars say “ birthday” to me, but the sketch looks really versatile and could be adapted to any shape or size or occassion. Hope to take on all this month’s sketches when I get back home. |

The numbers and stars say “ birthday” to me That's exactly what I thought, and seeing that one of the challenges is to scrap birthday photos, this was perfect. This is my LO. I used the "Your Birthday" kit by Lindsay Jane.  Points: 1 for doing the challenge plus the bonus 10 points (very generous, thanks!), 1 for sharing, #13 Rectangles, #14 Squares, #17 Happy Birthday, #20 Nuvos, #38 old photo, $52 stitches, #58 Word Up, #65 See the pattern, #77 Put a dot on it TOTAL POINTS = 21 |

LisaDV I love the spatters and the clusters and the flair - it looks like a paper layout! @aussimeg yours looks like paper too, your stitching is fabulous! Love the alpha for the title! You ladies are digi geniuses in my book! stinkerbelle what a sweetie! I love that title and the mix of alphas you used as well as the background. I'm going to get brave one day and try a nuvo border, lord knows I have enough! lol
