Anyway, he is going to get genetic testing and me + my siblings will as well. Just in case you don't already know this, he needs to go for testing first. Your testing is not as helpful unless you know what mutation he has, if any, first. 2 brothers with prostate cancer before 50 is suspicious! I won't be surprised to learn that they all have a common mutation, though sometimes it is something they just don't know yet. It all keeps changing! In 2006, when I was first diagnosed, they looked a handful of mutations, now they have so many more to look for (beyond BRCA too!)

The father of a friend of mine had breast cancer. It was the first time I'd heard men could get it.
