My Favorite is Land O'Lakes Chocolate Supreme
Last year I found out that hot cocoa comes in dark chocolate. Who knew? Not me! I had only seen milk chocolate cocoa at the store. I recently pick up a box of Swiss Miss dark Chocolate, it's not a rich as the Land O'Lakes so I will be purchasing that as well.
I like my hot cocoa with whipped cream and drizzled with caramel.
If I were to put together a hot cocoa bar, I would include>>> packets of hot cocoa, whipped cream, caramel syrup, candy canes, orange candy sticks, apple cider packets(for those who don't care for chocolate), mini marshmallows, marshmallow fluff. As well as an assortment of cookies.

Oooh, I do have a recipe that I make and give out for Christmas gifts. It is creamy and tastes so much better than Swiss Miss. You could add peppermint to it if you like that. We also have a hot chocolate mixer that made everything really creamy and frothy and hot. Last month, my nephew asked me to make him some since he ran out early. He lives and works in Vail, Colorado and says it is the perfect drink after a cold day outside. Measurements aren't exact. If I find a larger creamer, I'll put in 12 oz or 2 cups of powdered sugar. I tried adding the tiny marshmallows, but they never melted and always stayed hard. The miniature ones will work though as long as they are fresh. I have added miniature chocolate chips to the mix and they also work. 10 1/2 cups powdered milk 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 8 oz coffee mate 16 oz Quick ETA: I put this mixture into milk for an even better drink. This sounds divine. Can you mix this with hot water or does it have to be milk? And if so, how much mix to water for a cup of cocoa do you use?

I heat milk on the stove and add dark Lindt chocolate. Let it simmer a bit to thicken a little, so good!

I'm with you! I don't want all the chemicals and sugar in mixes. Have you ever tried this with stevia or similar?

I’ll have to dig out my recipes—I did a hit chocolate bar for friends 2 years ago and I made a WHITE hot chocolate that was sooooo good! I do use half-n-half for 50% of my milk. One of our favorite adult HC uses peppermint vodka! When I was a young adult there was a popular bar across the street from a park with outdoor skating rink. We'd go across for a Hot Schnocholate to warm up afterwards! Peppermint Schnaps in the cocoa.

That's the one I like, too. I use soy milk and it's still delicious. Oh that's great to know. I have never tried it with my almond milk. Maybe I need to do that.

I don't really think there is one except the Freddo one is always cheaper than the one that just says Cadbury's on the tub.

It is meant to be used with water since there is a lot of powdered milk already, but I generally use milk. We have a 1/4 scoop in the mix and I use a scoop with another maybe half of scoop thrown in.

Can you post a pic of yours when you get it set up? OK, here is my hot cocoa bar. This will stay up all winter long. I have jars with peppermint, mini marshmellows, vanilla marshmellows, caramel bits, white chocolate and mini chips. DH doesn't like k-pods so I have some cocoa packets for him, K-pods for the boys. I found some cute jingle bell stirrers and some stirrers that have bottlebrush trees on the end. A friend made some lollipop looking things that are actually honey that you stir in your coffee or chocolate, so they are included. I found some cute throw away paper cups that came with lids + red sleeves. I do have some Carmel syrup in the pantry but since no one here uses it much, I don't leave it out on the cabinet. Oh, and there is whipped cream in the can that stays in the fridge if someone wanted that to add. Not super fancy, but we use it every single day. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

My daughter loves the Williams Sonoma brand hot chocolate. It's so expensive, though! I'll have to try the Archer Farms brand from Target. We also have a cocoa bar that I set up for the winter -- which is funny to other people since I live in Hawai'i.

Penzeys! I’m surprised no one has recommended it yet. Delicious and no weird chemicals. Has a tiny bit of cinnamon in it, like Mexican hot chocolate. They also make a mint version. I got some on Merge’s recommendation, and I can indeed agree, it’s amazing!
