I'm so excited that Grey's is back tonight! I saw Patrick Dempsey on a talk show last night and he was lookin' guuuud. Anyone remember the "We Pea Grey" threads from the pod? We should start doing those again, yeah? Does anyone else record the last episode and watch it again right before the new season starts - other than me? Yeah, it's my favorite show. But it'll be so weird without Cristina  |

I normally do rewatch the last episode, but......I forgot  Realistically I'll probably DVR tonight's and watch them both tommorrow, but someone should spoil it anyhow, I love reading the spoilers first  |

My DVR is set! Because, there's now way in the universe I can watch a TV show before my kids go to bed, which is 9 so by the time everyone is settled I can't watch any 9pm shows live, nevermind 8pm  So psyched! And nervous. I don't know why, I'm always nervous. I guess because I know I'm too emotionally attached, and sucky things always happen. LOL If they didn't it wouldn't be compelling and no one would watch. But still... nervous. LOL |

I have been re-watching last season on dvd that came out this month, it will be weird not having Christine on any more. I am curious to see how Meredith reacts to the news of her half sister. Also how Bailey will react to the news that she is going to be ousted by Kerev for the vacant board seat.

DVR is set and I can't read any more of this thread until tomorrow afternoon. I can't watch Greys tonight. It is one of the few shows my daughter and I watch together and we have to watch it tomorrow morning. I can't wait.... i wish Christina was coming back.
I can't wait to see what they do with Meredith and Derek. I hope they don't split them up....
I want Alex to find happiness.....
I hope Jackson and April work out their issues.
I hope Callie gets some peace. She so deserves to be happy.

WHEW! I was just flipping thru channels and saw it starts at 8!?!? EIGHT? whew set the DVR for that bad boy.. won't be ready at 8 to watch anything!

I think somewhere along the way, someone will mention that Mer's mom and Richard had a thing back in the day and Maggie will put two and two together. |

Not liking Maggie at all. I used to love the writing on the show but this extremely young chief or cardiothoracic surgery is just not believable at all.
I think this whole episode is just too focused on her and it is too much all at once. I think I might like her better if we could kind of "ease" into her character.

I haven't seen tonight's episode yet. I did watch the premiere though. Count me as another that doesn't like the new girl. Don't know her name, Meredith's newest sister. lol Not at all believable as chief of cardiothoracic. All she did all day was run around asking for an echo. Seriously that's not how a chief would've handled that. I also just don't care for her character. I'm wondering just how many more sisters they're going to give Meredith.

Sitting on the bench with those of you who don't like Mer's sister, who seems just as bitchy as Mer, if not more so. During tonight's episode, all I could think was, "Is there NOTHING else going on in the hospital? Give us a break from her, already!"
I'm wondering if Shonda is stretched too thin. The writing is suffering.

I kind of like Maggie. I am glad they focused this show on her so we could "get to know her". I am sure each episode won't be all about her...I think it was just because she is a new character, they focused this episode on her.
I am glad that she told Meredith that they are sisters (and they didn't drag that out) even though Meredith doesn't believe her. Meredith has a valid point though, wouldn't a 5 year notice that her mom is pregnant?...why wouldn't Richard have noticed back then?
I am tired of Arizona and Callie arguing all the time.- either have a baby or don't, quit arguing about it.

I like Maggie a little more with this episode, but not a lot more. But I agree--let's see some more of the other characters. That's two episodes in a row all about a character we aren't invested in. And all that talking on the phone with her parents? WAY too much contact with an adult and her parents. Aren't doctors supposed to be busy? How does she find the time?
Calli and Arizona bug me. A lot. Good gravy, that relationship is so unstable. Don't bring another kid into it.
