What’s infinitely funnier is that it seems the headline writer didn’t even bother to read the article. Worth repeating But let's not feed into Rainbow's cheap thrills As I’ve said before, I find this poster to be a hoot! I love when she posts. I think she’s a double agent. She posts things like this because it makes Trump lovers look like idiots. I try not to be a mean poster so I firmly believe this.

The #walkaway thing didn’t work out so well for you, huh? Awww @merge, it's the interpretation! #Walkaway means walk away from your couch and register to vote in the mid-term election and then vote.

Just the stuff you post proves that “scientific study” wrong.
I especially love the “it’s not up to me to provide the rest of you sources for my made up drivel” comment. Fecking hilarious.

No doubt with your level of scientific literacy you are aware, then, that one study does not establish science, but rather the hallmark of science is replication. If you want to have a discussion regarding the actual scientific merit of the study, including threats to internal and external validity, as well as the issues in contemporary science such as the over reliance on p values, issues of p-hacking and HARKing, the philosophical difficulty of claiming something as truth rather than causal relationships, by all means let me know.

Please link to the peer reviewed journal article in which this was published. I am interested in seeing their research design and data. I’d also like to see how an actual scientist applied a medical diagnosis to a political affiliation. Thanks! Paragraph one:
It's a pretty interesting read actually.
ETA: I have no dog in this fight, someone asked for a link to the actual study, this is what I found, that is all.

Well, I think the look on this jello’s face says it all. That's jello? I am almost afraid to ask...but what kind? It looks like tomato jello. Bloody Mary Jello Salad. Tomato juice, vodka, pickles, celery, horseradish....

Bloody Mary Jello Salad. Tomato juice, vodka, pickles, celery, horseradish.... I’ve actually had tomato based “jello” (aspic). It’s not as gross as this looks!! Lol

I’ve actually had tomato based “jello” (aspic). It’s not as gross as this looks!! Lol The only jello I'm really familiar with is the fruit-flavored kind, maybe with some more fruit added. My mother always added sliced bananas to cherry jello, and that was a treat for us kids. My mother would also add raw vegetables -- shredded carrots, celery, etc. -- to green jello and serve it with mayonnaise. !! omg There was nothing on earth she could ever say that would convince me to try that. So tomato-based jello sounds like something from a horror story.

hahahaha!!! <whew...>
while I do see that the "American Journal of Political Science" has the WORD science in its name, I don't really think that makes it quite the same as a scientific journal. And I don't see the story to which you're referring in the issue that's linked- the 'Errata' section corrects something from a story about congressional committees and federal spending.
ETA: wait a minute-- the NYP article is from the year 2016!!! Rainbow, are you two years behind the times?? That would explain a LOT.

Well...two years ago...November 8, 2016, a day which will live in infamy. C’mon. An argument could be made that we were struck psychocysticotic with shock. (I vote we have a contest and make up more words that sound like “psychotic,” but don’t mean psychotic...except to Rainbow and the New York Post.)

I don't like that jello salad, because it looks like you can see right through into its brain; it's creepy. (it's not his personality shining through, it's his brain!! lol!) I also don't like tomato juice, so there's that, too.

Well I have “it” blocked, so I can’t see the OP.
With that said, I’m fascinated by that tomato jello thing. What kind of a meal would you serve that with?!?! I can’t imagine there’s a single entree out there that would be enhanced by a glob of jelled tomato on the plate next to it. Ick. Just ick.

Not that anyone probably cares, but Eysenck’s personality trait “psychoticism” does not equal “psychotic” - i.e., a break with reality which is part of a mental illness.

Correct. And that is not the definition of psychotic, which is a break from reality. There are many people who are hostile who are in touch with reality. For example, you come across as fairly hostile about anything related to Hillary or Nancy Pelosi. That doesn’t make you psychotic.
