That's the only idea I like, the rest of the suggestions would go straight in the donation bag.

it is hard/impossible to choose something that that many different people would like, as evidenced above. while lainey would like hand cream and would toss any of the other things, i would have no use for hand cream at all, ever.
of the things mentioned, the thing i would like most would be a yeti type cup. i have several, so i don't need one, but i do use one pretty much every day.
i like the idea of making an effort instead of just doing a gift card.
it would be nice to include a gift receipt with whatever you choose so that if that item isn't a hit with everyone, they can go exchange it for something that they do like. this is my new strategy for my christmas shopping. instead of spending forever trying to find the perfect gift, which may not be a hit, i choose something i think they would like, and include the gift receipt. if it is not a hit, they can exchange it for something that they DO like without having to awkwardly ask for a gift receipt, and i don't have to know whether they kept the gift or not. win win!

I like the idea of the solar charger, hand cream, or blanket.
Personally, I just donated about 6 tumblers/waterbottles because I keep receiving them as gifts/giveaways.

it is hard/impossible to choose something that that many different people would like, as evidenced above. I agree with this. I would not use a hydroflask or any other water bottle; I have too many throws/blankets already. Most of the things mentioned would go to my donate pile.
I would like a Lands End type tote bag or some good chocolates.

For my book club gift exchange, I’m taking a Nest candle which I’ll buy at a local gift store. I’ll enclose the gift receipt in my package.
I think most people who enjoy scented candles would love a Nest candle. If they don’t love it, they can return it, or regift it to someone who does.

I'm part of a work thing where they give a gift like this to 30-40 people. They take advantage of black friday deals on Amazon and past gifts have been:
Wireless speaker tile (my favorite ever, there was a mix of both the keychain and credit card sized ones) Yeti type cup with straw power bank
for that many people you can get a bulk discount. other than the tile, whose battery ran out and needs to be replaced, I still use and love all of these things.

I think the Yeti/hydroflask/Tervis tumbler is the most generic thing that the majority of people would like. We have coated stainless steel drinking glasses, so it doesn't have to be a water bottle.
Candles, lotions, soaps are an absolute no. No blankets If you are reasonably certain that most everyone drinks alcohol, you could do a bottle of wine. Even if they don't like it, they could take it to a family gathering.

I work in a school setting and the temperature is so inconsistent. A lot of us use blanket scarves as a clothing layer, because they can be a scarf, a shawl, or a lap blanket depending on the temperature of the room at any given time. That might work, although a few posters said no blankets or clothing.
How about an Alex and Ani bracelet that represents caregiving/kindness, etc that might relate to their job?

tile (my favorite ever, there was a mix of both the keychain and credit card sized ones) What is this? The only kind of tile I can think of is what's on my bathroom floor, but I suspect that isn't what it is given that there's a keychain and credit card version and it takes a battery?

It's very hard to come up with a gift that everyone will love or at least use, but here are a few more ideas that I haven't seen mentioned yet. Even if the recipient doesn't care for them, most of these could be easily re-gifted at worst. I think it's a lovely gesture to include a gift with the cash and most employees will appreciate the effort even if they don't love the gift itself.
socks (nice ones, like Bombas or SmartWool) nice small cutting board and knife touch gloves (do you live somewhere cold?) a consumable product from a local company - baked goods, jams, salsa, chocolate, coffee/tea, cheese, etc. a book (harder to choose, but perhaps a recent release that is non-political and light humored) if you live somewhere snowy, a great shovel or car snowbrush/ice scraper

What about a bag that keeps things cool? Ones you can put groceries in. I just got bluetooth headset from work and LOVE it. You can always use an extra headset. Best tangible gift ever? Two hours off from work ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

They are trackers, I have one on my keys. I can locate my keys from my phone or vice versa.

Some other suggestions:
* A small box of top quality chocolates from a proper chocolate shop * An RFID case for credit cards * Power Bank - something everyone seems to need/use now

I thought of one more. How about a nice super bright flashlight? Like thisI have a thing for flashlights (no idea why!) and DH bought me a gift bag full for Christmas last year including a beanie/toboggan hat with one built in. Love it!

Whatever it is, please include a gift receipt. There is absolutely no way a mass-bought gift for 20+ people is going to work for all those people. My faves so far: Power bank with built-in cord like this one. Tervis Steel Tumblers. Various sizes, styles, and designs. I have some of these and love them! Even if people already have one, having a couple means you don't have to wash out the same one every night to take to work/school the next day. You can get many of the designs at Bed Bath & Beyond and can use the coupon. Bonus: I take my tumbler & straw into Sbux/food places and they all let me use it in place of their own cup & straw.
ETA Straws for various tumblers: I like silicone for taking out of the house because I can bend them into the tumbler for traveling. I've bought a couple packs on Amazon. I prefer these. I feel they're ever-so-slightly thicker than these. I haven't had a problem with either set, though, and I use them a lot. (At home we use either steel or the clear Tervis tall straws (smooth sides, not flexible). I like the clear Tervis straws because I can see that they're clean. I like the steel because they're not plastic. So we have both. lol) These down blankets with stuff sack from Costco. I have four here at the house and ordered four more for my older boys and their wives (to keep in their cars or whatever). ETA This is a 2-pack, so the blankets are $25 each. Idea from a discussion on another thread, this purse/bag hanger for tables, bathroom doors, etc. There are smaller, cuter purse hangers, but this one has held up for me and would make a great gift because it's pricey. (When I recommend the Clipa2, most women balk at the cost after seeing the much less expensive offerings on Amazon.) Not a fan of candles, lotions, soaps, etc. These are so personal that I just don't see them working across the board for a group gift.
More on straws: I carry a couple in my purse in these bags. They're long enough for the extra long straws. I like that the bags are cloth.
The best deal on the best straw-washing brush is at Lowes. I order online and pick up at the local store. These brushes aren't whimpy and the little handle is great.

I like the idea of chocolate from a local gift shop. If they don't eat chocolate, it's easily re-giftable!
ETA - but it should be GOOD chocolate...

How about an emergency kit for their cars? Do they all drive?
Please, no on the chocolate. Not everyone likes it (I'm a freak of nature) and not everyone can eat it even if they like it.
And I can't be near candles, so that's a big no for me as well.

Is it possible to get a variety of things and let them draw numbers and pick? Or send out an email with four choices and each person gets to pick and then they are ordered?

Definite no on the snow brush. That's not a gift! Also, I would not want a pen or a journal. I dont know anyone who uses those.

A mini button bag $25 monogrammed with an initial. I use mine to hold my phone charger when I travel. It's small but it fits. It's so easy to pull from your tote at the airport or hotel.
a button bag. $35 is 6" diameter and can handle a three letter monogram.
These are jewelry rounds but can be used for other things too. A lot of interesting fonts are out there now and you won't have to use the same font for everyone unless you want.
this may be a more popular idea if you are located in the south. We do like a monogram to mark our belongings
eta: you should be able to find several vendors on etsy if you don't have a shop who carries these. You could google Instagram accounts to check on some vendors too

A small bag of marijuana None seem to fit the “must have” list or be monogram-able!

MantraBands bracelets came up in a ad on my Instagram feed this week. I checked out their link and I am really thinking about getting a few for gifts. Many different phrases, all multiple colors... I have not ordered yet, but throwing these out there. Looks like they run $35 and up. Currently there is a 10% off order coupon code when entering their web site. MantraBands

I purchased artisan made cosmetics pouches in a dark brown leather for my team. They’re a nice size and very pretty.
