John Lewis is a department store with many branches in the UK and their TV Christmas advertisements are always inspiring. This year’s story is about the power of a gift. And how that gift inspired, changed and influenced the course of a little boy’s life. That little boy just happens to be Elton John. The film begins in present day and works backwards chronologically through Elton’s life right until the moment on Christmas morning when he received the special gift that changed his life.....enjoy!

Isn't there an American senator called John Lewis who gets lots of tweets this time of year? Yes! He’s a Congressman from Georgia and a Civil Rights leader and hero. An amazing man. |

EJ was the first concert I went to, in 1975.
I have tix to see him next November in Philly. Why Philly? I wanted my son in NYC to be able to go with me, so I’m traveling from Seattle for this. Crazy, no?
