I have a set of vintage pink canisters and the bread box. They are really icky from being on top of my cabinets.
How do I gently clean these?

You will needs something to cut through the grease. Comet would be great but is not gentle. Try Dawn or some kind of citrus grease cleaner. Citrus Solv comes to mind. use Old English on my cabinets, maybe that would work.

I’d try “Awesome” from the Dollar Tree. Be sure to test it in a small hidden area first to be sure it’s compatible with the material and color.

Simple Green would be perfect for this job. Show us a pic!

White vinegar and a gentle liquid soap in warm water or if they are very icky, bicarbonate of soda mixed with vegetable oil to soften the stickiness, wipe off and take any reside off with the white vinegar and soap.

goo gone or vinegar and baking soda. I'd test them on a hidden part first. Sometimes magic eraser can get that stuff off but I'd test it as it can be harmful to some surfaces.
