I've never even heard of them until today. Some boots that I love popped up in an ad and they are from avenue.com . I need wide calf boots and these aren't listed as such. But visually they look like they are and the site appears to be a plus size fashion site. Can anyone tell me their experiences shopping at Avenue?

Yes I used to be heavy, lost a bunch of weight, and now am heavy again. I can honestly say that IME avenue's shoes run wide and their boots are wider calf than standard boots. Ironically when I gain weight my feet get wider and when I lose weight my feet get narrower. HTH |

Yes, I bought the best knee socks there. They were/are bamboo, I still have one brand new pair that I haven't worn yet. I so wish I had a whole lot more... They of course, don't carry them and haven't for years.
ETA: forgot to mention that they have a silver rose pattern up the back....

Honestly I've never been a fan. Their clothes don't seem to fit me well, and I never found them to be very good quality.

It is a plus size store... boots are wider... I like the clothes... my casual clothes are from Avenue or Catos... they are sorta like Lane Bryant

I used to when we had a local store, but it closed years ago. Haven't bought anything there since then.

I saw a pair online that I liked and haven’t made it into a store yet. I hope you find some that work! I need a size in between wide and regular. I though they had a pair that looked like a strap could be adjust like a belt.
I love their tops, sweaters and capris. They wash and wear great. I think the items purchased 10 years ago weren’t as nice as what I’ve ourchased in the last several. I will feel great when I lose more weight but I love my tops from spring and summer and don’t want to put them away. Lol.
