We're looking at ditching cable and for the most part Hulu would cover us channel wise. The only one i'm not seeing is MTV. I checked sling and i'm not seeing it there either. Anyone know which streaming service if any offers MTV?

DirectTV Now has it. Teen Mom's is my guilty pleasure.

Bringing this topic back up to see if anyone else steams it now? We got DirectvNow but they're going up in price, don't have sports on the package we has some issues occasionally with recording.
I'd love another streaming option, but need to know where we can watch MTV.

I don't know of any, but you can buy current seasons of certain MTV shows on Amazon Prime. I did that before I swore off the Teen Moms for good. Hulu has some MTV shows but nothing current. They do not offer it live, but I don't miss it.

We have Sling (it was free trial offer when we bought our TV) you can either pick from the orange or blue package both are $25/month then if you add the comedy package for $5 more a month you will get MTV and MTV2 plus a few other channels. So they do offer it but it’s a added package on top of another package you have to buy. sling is offering a deal now where the main Orange and Blue packages are 40% off for 4 months so thats something to consider. I personally will be ending my Sling service..we’re not happy with it at all but maybe you’ll enjoy it. Good luck!

Yeah... I'm keeping my Directv Now. I'm grandfathered in on the Live a Little package which is going from $40 to $50/mo for 65+ channels. With my AT&T $25 discount I'll still only be paying $25/mo including free HBO. The Live a Little package is going away and won't be available for new subscribers; their new packages start at 40 & 50 channels. I say don't cancel until you find a suitable replacement.

The package I currently get will no longer be available, if I drop them - soon keeping them as long as I can. Unfortunately, in the time I’ve been a cord cutter, every single streaming service has seen price increases or package channel reductions. 😕

So I have AT&T, but am not getting a discount. Thought it said I wasn't eligible. Do you have to have a certain plan with AT&T to get a discount on DirectvNow? Good to know there are other options starting to become available. I think DirectvNow is going to be lacking in the sports dept from what I've seen and it's coming upon baseball season now so that is going to be a consideration also.

Well we got ours for free for a trial period and when I went to cancel the day before it was suppose to end they already charged my card so I got stuck with having to pay for a month I didn’t want. Commercials. I understand the live shows you watch will have them but the shows that are previously on that you’re able to watch have tons of them and it annoys me...for $25 I don’t see a reason to have them when Netflix and Hulu don’t have them and that’s half the cost. If if you want to record something that’s coming on in the future you again have to pay extra from some type of cloud storage. A lot of shows on there you can’t pause, rewind or fast forward. The most annoying thing I found is it freezes up all the time..it’s done this since day one and I know it’s not a issue on our end...I read that it’s a huge issue with Sling. The channels they offer on the main two packages aren’t worth the $25 to me imo. This really is a matter of opinion though so you may actually think different. I think if the price was about $10-$13 it would be something I would consider.
