There was a clip on the Today show talking to Jenna and she had said something about how it was so sad that this happened so close to Christmas. Her oldest daughter heard and said, Of course Gampy had to go before Christmas - he has to decorate the tree with Gammy. Jenna said they had never spent a Christmas apart in 74 years so I guess he wasn't planning on starting now. Its really dusty in here...

Now CNN is showing the train carrying President Bush's body through Texas to the presidential library. Very touching to see all the people lined up along the side of the tracks, on overpasses, etc. Now I need to google "presidential library" because to be honest I don't really know what goes into one (I've never visited one). We visited the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin and it was the unexpected highlight of our trip. I want to see more.

Ohhh. man. James Baker is breaking my heart. I’ve been watching bits and pieces tonight and I watch a part, cry. Watch another part, cry. I love the stories that make me laugh between the tears.

I didn't watch so I only know that George W Bush spoke, don't know if the Sr's other kids spoke or if they get to speak at the TX funeral? GW James Baker and a grandson George Prescott Bush (jeb's oldest son) are speaking he body lied in repose in texas and 50K people passed by to pay their last respects i'm glad he was remembered in both locations gina I was fortunate enough to be one of those 50K who paid respect to President Bush last night as he laid in repose at St. Martin's Church in Houston. It was very moving. Cindy

Very touching to see all the people lined up along the side of the tracks, on overpasses, etc. I was surprised how many showed up, it was a cool and drizzly afternoon. A bunch of my husband's coworkers left early to go watch (they work just a few miles south of where the train departed) but DH and I had doctor appointments this morning and he couldn't justify spending another half day away from his desk, so he stayed behind. And I know some people who watched in Magnolia as the train passed through town. I saw an Instagram photo from George W. Bush of him looking out the train window at the crowd gathered in Navasota and I think the Bush family were touched by it all.
