My daughter is a junior in college. She is looking to get an internship and needs to turn in a resume. She will be working on it this weekend. What resources do you suggest for writing her best resume? I can google, but I'm looking for advice from people who maybe work or help others in the area or have recently used a source to get a job to tell us a site is a good resource and not just what the the internet declares best.

There is an etsy store called Resume Template Studio and she charges $5 for the template. I think she has 40 different ones. I would start there and see if any of them jump out at you.

DS used NovoResume.com for our his resume. We did end up paying for 6 months for the service, as it seemed a very small investment for what we were getting. You can also use it for your cover letters. I found it pretty easy to use and DS and I used the same account. That way I could "pretty up" what he was doing and not have to send the corrections to him. He's an electrical engineer and spelling is his nemesis. You can save it as a .pdf, which was helpful for the poster DS made for a reverse career fair.

Does her school offer any services?
I take online stuff but they have some campuses and they're great at assistance. There's online tools and the librarians will help you anytime too.
