welcome to another saturday and another sketch! i chose this sketch because i thought it would be very easy to customize to your particular style/page size. Sketch_102209 by Diana Fisher, on Flickr here is my take on it. i followed it very closely, except of course i piled lots of stuff on my example for sketchy saturday dec 8 by sadkid, on Flickr i hope you enjoy the sketch and can't wait to see what everyone creates! and because i know scrappy time is at a premium right now, give yourself 10 points if you do this sketch in december

Love the sketch and your take on it. Looks like it would work well for any shape of page, or even for a card.
I won't have time to play with paper until Monday, but hoping to hit this one then.

Ooh lush! Thanks stinkerbelle! I love it and I love your LO, I do love your usual style of scrapping but when you do a white background, I love that too, probably cause it's so different for you! I love those bows and that little camera poked in there, it's fabulous!

Great take on the sketch, AussieMeg. I love how you highlight the one detail of the Christmas celebration. Great use of the colours for a rainbow effect, too.

Your LO is gorgeous AussieMeg and that tree looks amazing too, way to go! I love the splatters in the background mirroring the tree decorations too, so lush! It is 8.50am and my plan is to do this sketch today. I got the Yellow Door collection the other day and I want to break into it with this, wish me luck!

So it's 8am the day after now and I did actually make a start on this. Mine has gone off track though cause I couldn't remember what the sketch looked like and didn't want to move to find out at the time! Maybe today I'll stick stuff down and finish it?

Ok, I finished it! Honestly, I thought I was copying the sketch..... I just went off a bit. Well, I started out picking 3 papers to punch into squares and trying to find a photo. Then I got the Yellow Door cut apart sheet and cut it apart. Then I started putting bits of that back together and came up with this! I haven't pointed yet and I'm not sure I should get the 10 for the sketch cause I'm thinking I've gone too far away from it lol! Taking 33 for this one. 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, 10 for the sketch, #8, #11, #13, #14, #20, #21, #22, #26, #27, #37, #45, #47, #57, #58, #59, #62, #68, #73, #79, #80 and Bonus Challenge, something you haven't opened yet.

Cool page, kiwigirl! I would definitely count points for the sketch. You have used the stacked squares (even though you have more of them), one photo, and the border strip. Plus lots of white space with the LO elements at bottom right.

Yep, points definitely count kiwigirl, you can definitely tell it was inspired by the sketch with the squares and the white space. I love that your LOs are just far enough away from the original that they showcase your creativity. (Unlike me - I get excited if I make even just one little element different!!)

My 4-square is a little bigger than the one in the sketch, but I still like it. Thanks stinkerbelle.
