On the 8th day of Christmas my scraproom gave to me
White on white cards pretty as can be!
The song mentions maids a milking, so I am basing the prompts on that.
For today's challenge, create something that is milky or creamy, tone on tone. You can use diecuts or stamping or patterned specialty paper (patterned vellum, maybe?). If you need an accent "colour", how about a metallic (like the milk maid's pail?)
&/or Share a photo of something white. Snow or ice. Someone in a wedding or communion dress. White packages under the tree.
&/or Use an octagon, or an 8 pointed star (with off set layered squares?) on your project.
&/or Make a list of at least 8 things you love about your home this time of year.
&/or Celebrate your favourite COLD beverage this holiday. A tall glass of ice cold milk? Maybe eggnog? Cranberry gingerale? Or a particular alcoholic beverage? Do you like it served in a special glass? Where and with whom do you drink it?

So pretty, grammadee . At first glance I didn't notice the deer in the background jumping out of the silver ring. I only saw the one standing in front. The white on white theme is perfectly executed. TFS.

I this prompt grammadee - will attack as soon as I have any time to be in my scrap space - this week I've not had any time to myself at all and scrapbooking seems a distant memory. But I adore the look of white on white, and have NEVER tried it for myself, so challenge accepted!!!

Lovely texture and layers on your white on white card grammadee I've gone though half a gallon of eggnog so far this season! Hubby barely tasted any. Luckily we got another gallon of it to drink before the end of the season. I drink mine cold, sometimes swigging it straight from the carton (shh! don't tell), but more often diluted with milk in my fat round coffee mug. Sometimes I make an eggnog latte at home by making weak milky decaf coffee and throwing in a good glug of eggnog. My other Starbucks fake-out is to make weak pour-over coffee, always decaf, with a good dash of Hersey's syrup, some milk, and a couple of mint M&Ms. The candy gives a hint of mint to the mocha, and at the end you get to slurp them half-melted from the bottom of the cup. I tried the new Starbucks juniper drink last week when I went to the tree lighting downtown. I didn't want it in a latte though so I paid $5 for a soymilk steamer with a dash of juniper flavoring and some pine sugar on top. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't great, especially for that much money! It worked well as a handwarmer though, and I satisfied my curiosity. I keep wanting to try the special Xmas coffee flavors but I expect to be disappointed so I prefer to stay safe with a peppermint mocha or just make crappy coffee for free at home ;P
