I have he farmbouse Christmas set from SU. I know a little boy who loves trucks and I’d love to use the Stamp and die yo make a tree ornament.
I can’t figure out a way to do it so I can add ribbon or twine so it has a way to hang. I don’t want to punch a hole in the truck and I’d rather not put a circle die behind it as I wanted to make it so you can see the truck on both sides. I’d kinda love if it could spin but that’s not a big deal.
I’m almost certain the solution is so simple I’m missing it.

Could you cut out two and glue a ribbon in between?

I'm not sure if I'm visualizing the problem correctly but do you need to do some mirror stamping to create a 2nd one to put on the back? Then you could sandwich the ribbon or twine between the two shapes like peasquared said. There are lots of YouTube videos showing how to do mirror stamping. The second one may not be perfect, but you should be able to get one good enough, or you can touch it up with a fine marker.

Could you cut out two and glue a ribbon in between? Thanks. My supplemental question would be is there a particular type of glue that would be best, in terms of holding long term?

I would think almost any adhesive would work. I'd try Tombow mono, probably??
