I've only made these once but since they're a thing amongst peas I thought I'd bring them to Christmas at my parents' but I'm not sure how many to take.
We're also having: chicken/vegetable soup, chili (with macaroni, crackers and cheese available), veggie tray and fruit tray.
There will be 27 people: 13 adults (ages 17& up); 14 kids. 1 kid and 2 adults are gluten free so won't be eating any sandwiches.
Also, what flavors? Obviously ham/swiss. Maybe ham/cheddar and then some with just american cheese and just plain butter drizzle for the kids?

funny you mention this. I'm making them , too. I plan on making ham and provolone and then I might make a veggie one.
I'm thinking maybe mushroom, cheese and roasted red peppers. (?) Still deciding. I am gonna punt on those and see how it goes. I do have a mushroom farm with a store just down the road and may ask for suggestions from one/some of the ladies next time I'm there.

I use THIS recipe and it's turned out great every time. My kids love them--they are a little sweet and a mini sandwich is just their size.

Ham amd Swiss, maybe turkey and whatever cheese goes with turkey (in my world- none!), roast beef and cheddar. I would have enough for each person to have at least one. Most people will probably have a serving of soup and a sandwich in order to be filled up.

I love them for a party because can make the night before and just pop in the oven, they always get eaten, and they are a perfect size.

I always do a roast beef / havarti cheese version, my family devours those. Along with ham/Swiss, I do turkey/American or cheddar. I have also done tomato/mozzarella which was still tasty.

I think I am going to get some fake salami and make some.

Do you change the drizzle/sauce with the different sandwich combos? How about the bread? Tomato/mozzarella sounds so good!
I've only made these sandwiches twice. The first time only one kid and myself ate them, and the second time was for a party and I think only 2-3 people ate them. That worcestershire sauce is bold, lol.
