I have a Genesis trimmer and have been thinking about investing in another cutter (and selling my Genesis). I see that WMK is coming out with a new trimmer. Anyone have one of WMK trimmers, do you like it?

The video said "coming August 2018"!! I bet they're really annoyed they didn't have it in shops before Christmas. Wow.
It looks like a pretty nice tool. I will be interested to see reviews once people get their hands on one.

Why do you want to sell your genesis trimmer?? I love mine! I bought it before it got so popular so I think I had to wait about 2 or 3 weeks.
eta: there have been some recent discussions about the quality at WRMK going down since AC bought them.

Wow a Genesis is pretty nice. Might be a real comedown to go WRMK after that. I tend to buy trimmers on Amazon since it’s an easy return. I have had some really bad ones that feather or don’t cut straight, like the Carl.

I was looking for a more compact trimmer. I don't want to get rid of my Genesis only to regret it later. I have a guillotine cutter (it's big) that I use to cut my card bases; I can cut 10-20 sheets at a time with it.

I have a Rotatrim Pro, but it’s big and doesn’t accommodate more than two sheets of 100# cardstock. Very accurate clean cut though. I got a small Tonic guillotine trimmer but it leaves little marks every inch or so. I haven’t bothered to return it. I also have a Fiskars wire trimmer for small jobs when I need to see exactly where I am cutting. I’d like to have a perfect small job trimmer.

It looks interesting but like joblackford I'm going to wait and see what how it actually works...

Genesis trimmers aren't being made anymore as far as I know. Bonnie from Stamp Salad bought the company, and it seemed to go downhill from there. Long (years long) wait times, inflated prices. Then I think she had some health problems and everything just stopped. It's a shame-it was a good successful company before she bought it (in many ways due to her promoting it) but I think she bit off more than she could chew.
