We all have Moto X phones but are looking to transition over to a phone with a better camera (my phone camera has been worthless for indoor photography but pretty good with outdoor shots).
My DH has picked out the Google Pixel 3 phone (the regular, not the X unless you convince me it is a good size). I'm disappointed in the apparent color/ style choices but would be really happy getting a better camera. The unlimited Google drive storage is also very attractive. What isn't attractive is the high price. Can you tell me if it is worth it?

I just got one, the XL. So far, I'm pleased. Signed into my Google account and everything was there. I'm ok with the larger size. DH said he'd get the smaller one simply because it'll work better for his field work.

I got a Google 2. I love it.
I have an OtterBox defender case on mine so I don't notice the colour. I really recommend the cAse I have dropped my phone on concrete numerous times and my phone would never know it.

My husband and I just got Google Pixel 3 XLs (because we were adding a line at Verizon, we qualified for the BOGO deal). We love them! Main reason for both of us was the cameras and they are terrific.
And I learned this when we were at Verizon. If anyone in your family is a veteran/active, you can get the military discount. I got a picture of my dad's form from Vietnam (DD214 or something like that) and we saved $35 ao the on yep unlimited plans.

I have the XL. Super easy to transition from my old phone. I also just got the Pixel charging stand for Christmas as they gave me a gift card after I ordered my phone as I am planning to use my phone as my bedside clock and the alarm function will also gradually lighten the room before the alarm goes off. I'll try that when I need my alarm when school starts up again.
