My 4 year old wants to be Superman and my 2 year old is hopefully going to be Olaf.

My 6 year old could not care less about Halloween. So, I'm going to pick the costume. I'm thinking Jake; Jake from State Farm. The boy doesn't like masks or bulky costumes.

DD6 wants to be Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. So far, everywhere I've found online that carries the costume has been sold out

Not sure on my teens. They get to dress up on the last band practice before Halloween and then the parents host a "Trunk or Treat" for them

My daughters want to host a witch themed Halloween party. If we do I think I'll just get black hats for them to decorate and we'll wear black dresses. 7yo said she might be Elsa or Anna for TOT'ing. We got both dresses for her birthday in June.

My 4 year old is going to be Batman. My tween is killing me. He cannot decide. First he wanted to make a costume based on Dr. Who, but then he decided that the ones he thought were really cool were too expensive & time-consuming and the ones that were lesser so, he didn't like. Then he wanted to be a zombie with some adhesive scaly skin patches. Then he decided that wasn't scary and he wants to be scary. I told him he couldn't be excessively scary and still go Halloweening, so we're back to a sullen "I don't know." Whatever, buddy.

Our daughter is going to be Dorothy. Our oldest son wants to either be Thomas the Train, or Dust Crophopper (planes). We're not sure what our 1 year old will be. I'm leaning towards Frankenstein, but maybe a monkey.

DD is going as Elsa and I am going to be Anna - got busy on my costume this weekend! (Sewed the skirt, assembled the top/vest from the thrift store with some trim added). We ordered DD's costume online.
DS wants to be Minecraft Steve. Spent last night cutting up cardboard boxes to try to fit his body, and bought some craft paint to do the squares. Hoping it turns out well.
DH is going as a Creeper to accompany DS... we found a Creeper hoodie online for less than $25 and figured we couldn't make it for less cost/effort.

DD wants to be Elsa. Since I refuse to buy any more of the cheap Disney dresses at Target (the Aurora dress from there I bought her for Christmas lasted maybe three months before starting to come apart), that meant spending either $45 or $90 for the Disney Store versions that are prettier and hold up so much better. Um, NO. And not only because finding them in stock there has been hit or miss too... So I'm making the dress myself. It's almost done. It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be to sew, turned out very pretty and it will hold up for many hours of dress up play afterward. She keeps saying she wants me to make her an Elsa wig (out of yarn) too, but she has long hair that could be braided and it would be hard keeping all that up under a wig anyway.
