I have got to say, I am really pissed off that you're going to restrict the challenges grammadee. I have 10/12 challenges I wanted to post but now I feel like I can't post them. I also think just because one person was unhappy about all the challenges in November we shouldn't pander to that. Nobody else complained. I am not happy at all

And for the record, I'd prefer not to restrict the number of challenges to 50 either. I have some more I'd like to add but I won't post them just yet.

I will add a vote to "let the challenges fly" if anybody is counting! I will keep it to 2 this morning but have more if we have room for them later today (I'm off to work.) #9 Cluster Chaos (OK, I really wanted to call this cluster-something else, but that would be really rude) - have at least 2 clusters of at least 4 items on your page/card (like die cut, die cut, puffy sticker, enamel dot) for a point. 2 points for 3 or more clusters. And enamel dot, nuvos and sequins only count as 1 item in any cluster, no matter how many there are #10 Ribbons and Washi - use either for a point! #11

Challenge #11: Monotone madness- makes page using just one color tone including embellishments.
Challenge #12: Pretty Patterns- make a LO using only patterns including the background
I too loved having so many challenges in November and would like if they were limited this month. It was nice having so many different inspirations to get my creativity going! And I’m definitely in need of inspiration this month.

#13 S is for Sweden. Create a project that is about visiting a place/town/state/country that starts with S. A bonus point if your title has 2 or more S' in it. Three bonus points if it about visiting Sweden.
Looking forward to being inspired.

#14 Other Crafts - This challenge is for sewing, knitting, or any other type of crafting, other than cards/layouts/PL. Are you working on school room decor, home decor, flower arrangements? This is the place to be. The points for this challenge are 1 hour of sew/craft time = 1 point Plus if you spend 1-3 hours on your project, take an extra 5 point for the finished item. If you spend 4-6 hours on your project, take an extra 10 points for the finished item. If you spend 7+ hours on your project, take an extra 15 points for the finished item.
Give yourself an additional 1 point for each time you are working on learning a new craft, new technique (can be scrapbook/card making related), etc. Motivation to learn new things is always good.
If you’re teaching someone crafty skills: Give yourself 1 point for each hour you spend teaching.

#16 New Year, Second Chances Re-do an old layout. Am I horrible to suggest it?
Points are tricky.
If you take apart and rework your old layout, you can claim a point for a whole new layout, a point for the do-over, and points for every way you can earn points this month (squares, clusters, ribbons, dots, New Year, etc.)
But if you just add to an existing page without cutting an reattaching elements, you can only earn points for the additions you make. For example, adding a border of Nuvo Drops to a 2006 page will yield just 1 point.
And, to claim the sharing point for either, we need to see a before and after photo!

#19 a fun outing Scrap an outing (museums, parks, amusement parks, etc ) that you attended this last year. 2 points if it was just grownups having fun!
#20 use those shape acrylics! If you have been hoarding those cute little acrylic hearts, stars, etc now is the time to use them. I am also one for having as many challenges as possible. It gives people a wide variety to choose from.

jloubier - this thread is just for challenges. We will have a separate thread to post the layouts and points totals. There is also be a separate chat thread! # 23 - Manufacturer mix-up: 1 point for 3 or more manufacturers (eg. Pink Paislee, Shimelle, Jillibean Soup) represented on your project. An additional point for each additional manufacturer. Things that do not count: cardstock. nuvos. enamel dots. sequins. mists. Sorry, they are just too easy to add! But you can count say a stencil you used to create a pattern somewhere on the layout, or stamps you use. #24 - Punch or die - use your punches, dies or electronic die cutter #25 - Pre-made, or Hand-made! Include in your title either a premade word, or a hand-lettered word for one point! If you use BOTH in one title, score 5 points!

#26 Photo Crazy - Use a Large Photo like The whole length or the whole width of the page or the whole page! Or blended photos. Or use a shape other than Square/Rectangle (think circle, triangle, hexagon, etc.)
As far as challenges: I'm ok with whatever the powers that be decide. I like lots of challenges but I like lots of stuff on my pages. I'm also a worrier, nurturer, and guilt carrier by nature, so I will feel guilty if it's bringing someone else discomfort and gladly do whatever I can to ease discomfort. I also worry about only creating a couple of pages but getting lots of points. I'm a FREAK!

#16 New Year, Second Chances Re-do an old layout. Am I horrible to suggest it? No, not horrible at all! In fact I had already planned to re-do an old LO for one of the challenges that I’m going to set. Speaking of which.....
#29 what’s In A Name? - Do a LO telling a story about how someone or something (person, pet, house, car etc) got their name.

I’ve just noticed that we have two number 19 and 20, so everything from #19 Sparkle will need to be renumbered. I’ve changed mine above from 27 to 29.

Looks like a fine crop of challenges, Ladies! Just a note in response to your requests, kiwigirl , AussieMeg , kitbop , boymom5 , nylene, and cristelina , I have removed the limit on the number of challenges. They still need to be posted by end of [my] day on the 3rd. So, as kitbop suggests, you can now "Let FLY!" to your heart's content. I guess it is easier to limit which ones you want to work on from a large list than to be restricted by a short one.
