nylene, I think you and LisaDV will do just fine on that team! She is a powerhouse this month! Here are the two pages I finished today. Bundle Up! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Bundle up 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Need to go into town for a routine dr appointment tomorrow, so prob won't get anything done until Friday. And then I am not sure what I will be doing. I should finish up all the Christmas pages so I can store all things Christmas away into their corner. But there are still a few pic's I received by text and haven't had a chance to scrap yet, so not sure if I will leave the ones I DO have printed until I have them all. Then I could go on to a few hockey pages. Will decide Friday morning.

Good morning Pea friends! We are back from Orlando and getting back into the routine. It was so sunny and warm while we were there. Ron and I went to Universal Studios, which was fun. We were down there to attend my assistant's wedding. She was the most beautiful bride! It was such a pretty wedding, it was such a perfect wedding. As always, I enjoyed the time away from home, but was ready to go home after a few days to see the kids and my furbabies. Knutschen - Your composition books look great! I really like them. Lisa - You have been super busy, you got so many pretty LO's done! I'm glad you found a house that you like. I couldn't deal with carpet in the bathrooms either...I'd be getting rid of that fast also. Nylene- I really hate that Steve is having to deal with vision loss, he has struggled with it for so long. He must be a special man to be able to have a good sense of humor about things getting rearranged on him. Well, I'm off to get myself ready for work. I have grants due out the door today and have a speech to write for tomorrow. Have a wonderful day ladies! Tina

shinyhappytina, I hope you can find some time to still come around now that work is starting back up. But have a wonderful day! grammadee, Beautiful layouts. I love the pops of red. Well my vacation is over today too. I have a long list of things to get done for the mortgage paper work and for new house cleaning/prep stuff, so fingers crossed I can get it all done. I hope to get over to the team sharing thread and comment on layouts sometime in the next 4-5 days.

Happy New Year!! So many beautiful layouts already! You girls have been busy. My daughter and her dog actually left early this morning. Her husband left Tuesday morning as United Airlines messed up with their dog going, which of course ended up costing $700 more and tons more stress. I will feel better once she and her dog are in Hawaii safely. Been praying and praying. I worry too much, I know. Looking forward to scrapbooking this Sunday and getting organized in my scrapbook room and beginning to scrapbook regularly again. I truly love it and miss it. I have been frozen without shopping since Dec 1, 2018, and plan to stay that way until June 1, 2019. joyfulnana - you staying frozen still?

((((HUGS)))) justlisa7! Hoping that once you hear that your dd and dog have landed that you can relax for a bit. And when you have had some rest, maybe you can start using up some of those scrappy supplies so you have room for your new purchases when you come out of the Freezer in July. Hopefully you can also start planning your first trip to Hawaii soon I am not frozen, and actually still have a couple of gc's to spend from Christmas, so looking forward to spending those. I also have an on line order that the store is holding for me for pick up mid February, so this has been the Christmas that just keeps on giving! If I don't get into town soon, I will run out of glue cartridges, so I need to get there before too long. Glad I am not frozen b/c I would hate to tell people I spent their gift on GLUE!

Wow, LisaDV so many beautiful pages. I love the ones with photo blending. I want to learn to do that. nylene you asked a question last month about my pop up Christmas tree card. It is made with a Karen Burniston die set. I made a few of each of the die sets to try them out. I love the look of them but just the card cost double postage to send and if I included a letter and picture it was triple! Next year I will have to be a bit more conscious about how much my cards weigh. grammadee I am (mostly) frozen. I way overspent in September and October, and my scraproom is so disorganized because I have way too much stuff. I'm going to try to get some used up between LOAD in February and Calvinball in March along with the challenges here. I'm back at work this week and it's been pretty good. I'm working out five mornings a week (3 treadmill, 2 yoga) and I feel so accomplished. Unfortunately, I have to be in bed by 9:30 in order to get enough sleep. I'm reading a book called Sapians for my book club. It's a history of homo sapians and a bit dry sometimes so I'm reading one chapter a day. It does have interesting parts, too.
Last weekend, my DH , DMiL, and I went to see the Illusionists in the next city over. There were five different magicians performing and it was a very good show. Here are the layouts I've done so far this month. Games by Jacqueline Bruce, on Flickr Snap Chat fun by Jacqueline Bruce, on Flickr Advent by Jacqueline Bruce, on Flickr

I am so crazy. I typed out a long post and went to get my card image to add and closed it. I hate that. I even had the feeling that I ought to post it and then go get the image and add it. Oh, well. I'll try again. LisaDV, I love all the layouts you have made. You are a speedy Pokey this month. I love the floor plan for your new home. It looks so much like my DD's home while they were in NH. Except for the stairs, I really enjoyed tending the "grands" there while they ran marathons. I hope you can get the smell out of the home. I'm glad you scrapped it and can compare your upgrades to the original. shinyhappytina, nice to hear that you arrived home safely and had a great time in Orlando. I'm sure those left behind were glad to see you. Drop in when you can. I'd love to see Univ. Studios pages! grammadee, You are getting a lot of pages done. Don't you know that you can't spend gift cards on necessities?? They are for FUN! What are you getting in Feb from your scrap store. I'd be very anxious. Valentines? Spring? justlisa7, I am sorry about the mix up with the dog. Wow, $700 for the change. That doesn't sound good. I hope they have arrived and all are reunited. I know you will feel better to know that. Congrats on staying Frozen. Since the AC Warehouse closed I have only bought glues, cut mats and blades and a few dies. I have enough stuff in this room for 100 years of scrapping. Good luck between now and June. kellyr21, are you working on any new artwork? Have you gone back to the Craft group since Christmas, or do they just do it around Christmas time. It sounds like fun to get a group of women together to chat over crafty things. justjac, your magician show sounds like fun. I am proud of you for your workout schedule. I hope it continues to work for you. I planned to go back to walking in the mall after Christmas, but my knee is still bad and swollen. I'll have to give it a few more weeks. I'll go look at your pages before the day is over. I haven't been on the Team threads for several days so I hope to see more of the works of our Pokeys when I jump over there. Don't forget to post 4 projects here for a Pokey Pea point and for all of us to enjoy. I have been making side pop, or Z pop cards for card club. I reduced the size to avoid the extra postage. That left me with lots of tiny pieces! Side pop Cards for Card Club Also made a card for DSIL with an alligator. He always says goodbye with one of these phrases. Side Pop B-day Card

I love that, Nylene, and I love the flute. DD had a friend who played the flute at her wedding and it was my favorite thing. Well, I liked her BIL playing the sax, too. I'm not commenting a lot, but I am really enjoying seeing all your layouts and doing the challenges. I has given me more energy to work on my stuff and inspired me to do some different things. And organize my room better and GET RID OF ALL THOSE ANCIENT STICKERS! I'm waiting for a response from my 3 dd who I just told about the stickers. They usually give me a standing ovation when I throw stuff away. They are worried about cleaning out my stuff when I die!

Good Morning Pokey's! My Saturday turned out to be "interesting" lol. We got about 9 inches of very wet, heavy snow. My Internet went down early, but the power stayed on, until about 5:30 PM just in time for it to be dark inside and nothing that could be done. I would have been ok with being out during the daylight hours, but no, that was not my luck. I was watching my first NFL game in 5 years, after years of being an avid follower, watching the Chiefs game and the power went out at the half. But since I live so close to the stadium, it was pretty easy to hear that they were still winning and the noise from the stadium was crazy when the sealed the win! So happy to have the playoff curse broken! The traffic was so bad around my complex that my DS who was trying to make it home, spent 3 hours going only a few miles and still ended up parking his car at a gas station and walking a mile home. The power went out soon after. It finally came back on around 1 AM, so there is heat and coffee this morning! And kellyr21 I saw your team won too! One step closer to them facing off in the Superbowl! I feel like the Rams will definitely get there and will win it all if they do. Which will be bittersweet for me if the Chiefs play them lol. I'm excited to watch the games today! I think I've really missed football! I did get some knitting started while I was watching, and I've been sorting prints still. Nearly done with those. Just in time for all my fall and December pics to arrive this week. Scrapping is going to happen this month!! But I probably won't be getting a lot of points for my team. LisaDV - I'm so happy you found a house! It's beautiful too and I can't wait to see what you guys do with it! And so cool that you will have a scraproom! Do you have any idea when you will be moving in? I'm with grammadee, I don't like doing reno work, heck, I don't even like yard work or gardening! justlisa7 that sounds like a lot of extra stress in an already stressful situation, and I'm sure you will be glad to hear they are all safe and sound and settled! I'm still frozen! But I also haven't scrapped. I've looked around online a bit at sales and new things coming, but I have so much that I'm not really very tempted by anything new yet. I even have 2 GC that I'm hanging onto in case I see something I have to have. That is sooo not me. They are usually spent the week I get them lol. I'm hoping to get lots done this year that will hopefully make a dent in my supplies. It's not good so far Elaynef - I hope you are loving the team challenges, they really get me out my ruts and help me get more creative. justjac - I think getting up early for exercise and actually DOING it is a huge accomplishment! I am doing 30 days of yoga with Adrienne and fell behind as soon as I went back to work for a full week. I'm going to try to fit in extra to try to catch up. I did her program last January, and finished it about a week behind schedule, but I finished which was huge for me lol. OH grammadee - I have two weather apps on my phone too, so I can relate to your DH Waving Hi to everyone and hope you are having an awesome weekend!

@elaynef , my granddaughter (15) walked into my scrap room and said, "How I wish I had all these things to play with." I wish she had more time to come play. Once they are teenagers, life gets hectic. I'm sure her mother is not looking forward to cleaning out this house when we are gone. joyfulnana, I am sorry about your power outage. Was it because of the snow? Trees and lines down? Will you have flooding when it melts? LisaDV, I have been working on organizing my dies. Sammie went through them while she was here and wrote down some categories. I have been cutting up magnetic heat-vent-covers and heavy cardboard for dividers. She wants to help me decide what goes where after school tomorrow. We'll Facetime to do it. I have a lot finished, but had to order a special wooden box to hold them all. Ordered from DH, of course. He seems happy to build me something. I'll add up my hours and take some photos for your challenge. Waving to all the Pokeys. Will be back later.

justlisa7, how you doing with your dd in Hawaii? Hopefully the grands are keeping you so busy that you only miss a little bit. I know it doesn't really work that way, but here's hoping. I'm a worrier too, so I get that. justjac, all wonderful and fun layouts. I love those stacked tea cups. You seem to have such an exciting and fun life, I always think I'd love to go hang out with you after seeing your layouts. Good job on the exercise routine. I've been trying to get into a routine for 2 months. I go a few days, get sidetracked by life, go a day, get sidetracked. I've been sidetracked for over a month at the moment. I've got to get on it. The magic show sounds like it would have been amazing. nylene, your z-fold cards are beautiful and fun. And the one for dsil is downright adorable. The flute page is simply beautiful. I'm sure Sammie will have you in tip top organized style in no time. It's so nice that Steve is so talented. I told my DH who is handy but not experienced, that I would love to have some furniture that we made ourselves in the new house. His aunt and uncle (who just passed) did this when they moved into their house. We have their dining table here. @elaynef, I hope your DDs are proud of you. I have a hard time throwing out too. I have given some things to goodwill and some to my teacher niece. joyfulnana, ugh, the power was definitely not cooperating with you the other day. Remember the knitting is worth points in the other crafts challenge. What are you knitting? Well, I was hoping to get a little time over the weekend as the stress from the week and getting everything in order and waiting for inspections and such were done. However, as I was working Saturday morning, I tweaked my back somehow, probably because I was carrying my stress in my back. It hurt to lay; It hurt to sit. It stunk big time. I was popping advil and having dh apply arnica often. It was a bit better on Sunday, but still a bit off. Thankfully it feels fine today. Good thing because I have a full day. Of course, it goes out when I don't have plans other than spend time with the family, make meals, and scrapbook. Dang it! I still made meals but ds cleaned up, and I sat next to dd when I was sitting. She sucked dh & I into rewatching an old beloved show (Avatar: the Last Airbender cartoon series), even ds joined a few times. The cartoon was so well done. The movie based on it stunk. It was like they didn't even watch the series at all. Also not to be confused with Avatar, a movie about a blue alien race. I'm hoping that I can take a day or maybe 2 half days over the course of the coming week for crafting, but I'm not going to put money on it or hold my breath or anything crazy like that. I'll have to see how life cooperates. I'm off to start the day/week.

Elaynef - I hope you are loving the team challenges, they really get me out my ruts and help me get more creative. I found a process utuber this morning that I really liked and I think will help with increasing creativity and rut getting out of, too. I normally don't watch them...to slow and too long for me, but this one is helping me use all those PP cards. I have a ton of them even though I have never bought a pocket page kit and have only done one album. I thought y'all might like to check it out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbKQiC6TwP0

Happy Monday and Cheers to a new week!! May it be filled with blessings for all of us and lots and lots of crafting!! I feel better now that my daughter and her dog are safe in Hawaii. We have face-timed and talked and she has sent a lot of pics to me. She is enjoying it very much! She has good friends there on the base with them who also got there the same week - they were also in her wedding so that is good. We are planning a trip for May this year. I organized a lot yesterday in my scrapbook room and going through stuff - a few hours of it. Still so much to do. I may organize a little and then scrapbook a page tonight for the challenges. I need to remember my FLIKR username and password so I can post. I tried through instagram but I cannot figure it out. It would be so much easier for me. nylene - I love those fold cards you made - so adorable!!! @jofulnana - I miss snow so much - is that why you had a power outage? LisaDV - yay for a new house!! I must have missed that. Going back to look through this thread.

Good Monday morning, Pokeys! (at least it is still--barely--morning for me). I slept in this morning. I was awake for quite awhile around 3:00AM, but then fell sound asleep to be awakened at 8:30 by the phone. Have been bumbling along working on a couple of pages for LisaDV 's Sketchy Saturday challenge. I still have a few things to dry before I can photograph and share the pages. Dh still has his winter cold. They tend to target his chest, so I am keeping an eye on him in case he has to go into the doctor. It is really hard to judge how sick he actually is, b/c every illness is the "worst". I think the joint aches are what are bothering him the worst right now, so other than taking pain meds I don't think there is a lot anyone can do. He went back to bed this morning shortly after I got up, but is in the kitchen now eating lunch and catching up on his iPad. Good to hear your dd is doing well in Hawaii, justlisa7 . The military is like a huge family, isn't it? As they travel from base to base, they form friendships with so many people. Isn't FaceTime wonderful? Glad you can go to visit her once she is settled in. Thanks for the link, @elaynef . I have really enjoyed seeing all your pages this month. Glad you are using up your stash and having fun. I hope your back is still doing better, LisaDV . Doesn't it seem like stuff like this hits just when you have time to relax? Maybe your body decided you needed more physical rest than scrapping would give you. You have had a very hectic January. Hope you find time to play sometime this week, but most of all I hope that back pain goes away and stays away. How is the organizing coming, nylene ? I have no idea how I will organize my dies to go into the cube I ordered last week. I generally search for them by theme, so it would make sense to store all the Christmas dies together, but not sure how (or if I need) to identify manufacturers? The only time that would be super important would be if I were sending in a page for publication, but I like to identify the manufacturers when I post a page even here in our Gallery. Are you dug out from the storm yet, joyfulnana ? I heard on the news last night it was still raging somewhere. I don't mind snow on the ground: it protects the tree roots and makes the whole landscape really pretty. But I do NOT like snow storms! Wind can do so much damage. Hope your power is still on, your roads are cleared, and there was no damage done to your home or yard. What will you do with all your Orlando photos, shinyhappytina ? I have a TON of Disney related papers and other elements left over, even though my Operation Florida album was 75 pages! I saw on another thread, patin , that you were cropping this past weekend with friends. That is such a wonderful way to spend a few creative days. I really look forward to the times justjac and I can get together. Let the paper and glue FLY!

Happy Tuesday all! It feels like the year is going so fast already. New Year's seems like a long time ago. LOL! Hope you all are well today. Glad to see all you ladies scrapping in the challenges here. nylene , those cards you made a just fantastic? How did you do it? Die cutting machine? So cute!
joyfulnana - Yes, my Rams won! So did your Chiefs. I hope you get to watch the next game. If they bet the Patriots, that will be big.
nylene - The craft group still meets on Thursdays. I am planning to go this week. I think they are a year long group. I am planning some new art this month. Not sure what I will do but I have these large canvases I want to use. Do you still have your Christmas tree up? We do! I'm not sure when we will take it down. It looks so nice and I know my dh loves having this Christmas reminder up. How ya feeling? Sending you a hug!
LisaDV - You all found a house! I hope it give you and your family lots of comfort in the new town. Keep taking care of you and that back. I get tension in my digestive system when I am stressed and shoulders too. Hang in there!
justlisa7 - So happy to here your dd made it to their new home. I hope you get to visit this year.
grammadee - How's the farm these days? That snow must be tough. We have been getting some rain and for us that is tough. LOL! You snow weathered folks are the real heros! Hope your dh feels better too.
knutschen- Those book covers you made are so good. Glad to see you with us and crafting.
@elaynef - Any new home projects this year? I would like to do something to my small bathroom on the walls like adding some art but now sure what to do. Plus I need better storage solutions in there.
Waving hello to you all and gotta catch up on all your lovely layouts and cards.

Hello! I'm ordering groceries online and thought I would pop in as a distraction lol. LisaDV I'm knitting myself a Christmas stocking. I made them for my kids for their first Christmases and finally got DGS's done last year. They all match, so I need one too lol. My shows are all coming back this week and I've found a couple new ones on Netflix I want to check out so there will be lots of crafting while watching. I will be sure to count the points. Lord knows I haven't gotten any from scrapping Of course your back went out when it was time to relax, that's always the way isn't it? nylene, I don't think there will be too much problem with flooding. It's staying pretty cold so the melting is slow going and hopefully won't cause too much of a problem. justlisa7 I'm so glad you're daughter is safe and getting settled. And that she has friends there, that has to help so much! I'm sure May can't come fast enough for you. @elaynef thanks for the link! I have a hard time watching videos for the same reasons you mentioned. But I have cards that I need to use so I will check it out. kellyr21 I'm so excited for this game. It will be amazing if the Chiefs can pull it off. grammadee I hope your DH is feeling better. Man sickness is the worst lol! The power is still on, and I finally dug out my car today. I think I was the only person left that hasn't scraped the snow off. I haven't left home since last Thursday when I finished up work and I'm starting to get a bit stir crazy, I'm going to try to get out for a bit in the morning before work. We have another storm moving in Thursday night - ice this time and now I'm worried the power will be out again. It's going to be crazy cold here for the Chiefs game Sunday 4 degrees! I hope it misses us lol. I hope everyone is well and having a wonderful evening!

Thanks for asking about dh's health. He went to the doctor today and has been put on some mucus cough syrup and an antibiotic. Both make him pretty sleepy, so he has been lying down a lot. I went to the physiotherapist for an assessment on my knees. Wouldn't you know it, I went in relatively pain free, and with two functioning knees, and this evening I can barely MOVE my "good" knee. I guess the "bad" one warned with pain when she was manipulating it, but the "good" one didn't hurt: until after I got home! She has accepted me into a program two days per week starting next Tuesday. Hoping the therapy helps more than the assessment! Wondering how you are doing with your settling in, woodysbetty. Hoping all is going smoothly. Glad you are beginning to dig out (literally) from the snow, joyfulnana. We have some snow but not nearly as much as we have at this time some years. My vehicle is in the garage, so no sweeping off for me, and the neighbours keep our laneway cleared, so that makes a big difference in how much snow inconveniences us. Good to hear from you, kellyr21. Can't believe you are looking forward to more remodeling/redecorating. It is a process I definitely do NOT enjoy. My tree is still up, but hoping I will get it downstairs at least by the end of the week. That will depend on whether my knees work by then. I love your storage solution for your dies, nylene. Great that your dh could build it for you. Off to bed for the evening. Hoping to scrap a couple of pages tomorrow if I can't be lugging Christmas stuff down the stairs...

So still crazy busy, no scrap stuff out or real furniture but at least we have a home lot and house picked...think of you all often!!

Another Happy day wish for justjac! Am I right..you are scrapping on your birthday? elaynef - Any new home projects this year? I would like to do something to my small bathroom on the walls like adding some art but now sure what to do. Plus I need better storage solutions in there. Kelly, I feel like I've barely finished a whole year of home projects and never want to do another one, but your bathroom sounds like a great idea...now that you mention it, mine could use a little "freshening up", too. Be sure and show us what you do. I thought you might enjoy seeing my latest "scrapbook table" display. The tabernacle usually lives at dh office, but he brought it home Christmas to do a family time teaching on Christmas eve with the grands. So I seized it for a while to remember that night. The scripture in the frame is Psalms 24.
So many decisions that my head is spinning and I keep forgetting what I picked and have to stop myself from overthinking every choice. I know how you feel. Just remember, there will come a day when you can sit and look at it and not have another thing to decide or project to finish! I'm going to try to get out for a bit in the morning before work. We have another storm moving in Thursday night - ice this time and now I'm worried the power will be out again. Hope you got to go out and please be careful if it comes back! lisaadv Your layouts are so soft and pretty...my favorite colors. Will be thinking about you getting ready for the move. The movers are actually at dd # 1 house today. She is somewhat distressed. Texting me prayer requests even more often than usual.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Unfortunately @elaynef there was no time for scrapping. I had work, and then my Taking Off Pounds Sensibly meeting, and then DH took me out for a late supper. And I won't get any scrapping done this weekend unless I squeeze it in Friday night. It's my niece's birthday today (she was almost my birthday present 12 years ago) and we're heading to Saskatoon (2 1/2 hours away) for a family party Saturday and staying until Sunday. I'm also breaking my freeze and buying some supplies from an acquaintance who is purging. She has some brand new and nearly new Tim Holtz stamps and dies that I couldn't pass up. grammadee and nylene take care of those knees! Or we will have to become the Hobbling Peas instead of Pokey! joyfulnana I hope it warms up for you! We're having a cold snap this weekend, too. woodysbetty good luck with your decisions. We're repainting our kitchen and living room sometime this year and that alone boggles my mind. kellyr21 I look forward to seeing what you do with your large canvases! I signed up for a class wire art class to make a tree of life in February. LisaDV good luck with all your new house tasks! I can't wait to see what you do with it. Waving to all those I missed.

Happy Thursday from raining California! It's been really coming down and since I am at home, I'm good. I just feel bad for my dh having to drive out there. He is about an hour from work and with the rain it probably takes him longer.
woodysbetty- LOL! I know decorating is tough but once you have your ideas in place it is fun finding what you want. Maybe see decorating as making a new scrapbook page. That might make it feel like art not work. Hang in there!
@elaynef - What a sweet scrapbook table. I like all the inspirational items you have. I know your dh enjoyed teaching the grands about the tabernacle. Did you all make it or bought it?
justjac - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hope you are enjoying your special day!!!! (We were just posting at the same time. So glad you had a terrific day!)

I will have Sunday evening and all day Monday by myself to scrapbook and work in my scrapbook room. I actually forgot Monday was a holiday so it’s a nice surprise to have nothing planned. 😉

justlisa7, glad you are more relaxed now. Enjoy your upcoming scrappy time. grammadee, ouch! I hope your knees get more than just pain from the physiotherapy appointments. How are they doing now? How's DH? It stinks when it gets in your chest. kellyr21, I can't wait to see what you do with your bath and your large canvases! I know both will be amazing. DD carries her stress in her belly too. woodysbetty, I'll suggest making a binder. Put each design decision in it. Your countertop sample, cabinet sample, layout, etc. It really helps. Just don't lose the binder. We did that with the farm. The roof and vinyl samples are actually on my desk now although I have a sample somewhere in that dang lost binder. I hope to do one with the new house too. justjac, sounds like you had a good birthday. Do you know the first thing I thought of when I was doing the birthday thread on the 16th was I wonder if Dean made justjac another fabulous quilled card?! lol nylene, how are your knees? Well, the loan officer emailed the other day saying everything is a go and we can close anytime we want, if we wanted to get in earlier. DH sounded like he really wanted to, but I shot that idea down right away. I need my next week and a half. The plan is the kids & I will go down for closing and stay the weekend to help move in a few beds and start the cleaning process. We're cleaning from top to bottom, stripping wall paper and painting each room with kilz first. We'll be coming back after the long weekend for February. We have lots of various appointments. We'll see after that. I still haven't come up with a color scheme for the main floor yet. It's all that honey oak which I have to treat as a yellow. It means I need colors with purple, blue, or green undertones to accentuate but not over-accentuate all the wood. I'm typically a more warm Tuscan styled coloring person so I'm struggling. I'm getting supplies ready that need to go on the first trip: cleaning and bedding, etc. I've also started meal planning. I'm going to start making meals that I can make several extra of at the time so we eat that night, I freeze one for next month and then one for the following month. I've already done meatloaf and Italian meatballs. So I haven't had any time for crafting yet. And I have an outing this morning. boo. Guess I should get out of here. Hope everyone else gets some crafty time over the weekend.

Happy Friday, Pokeys! I really don't envy you this journey, LisaDV. I can understand your dh wanting to close on the house and get it ready to live in, especially since he will be working in that area and it gives him a home to go to each night. But the cleaning and scraping and peeling and painting would not be something I would look forward to. When do you see yourself living full time in that house? I would much rather be joining justlisa7 in her planned scrappy long weekend! Has the rain let up any, kellyr21? I had heard reports that there were fears of more mud slides out there. Is that a possibility? Hoping you and yours are safe. We don't need weather quite as cold as it is right now (about -35F) but I think I prefer cold to wild weather like you have been having. Wondering how msliz is doing after all the storms on the East Coast? And did you ever get yourself dug out, joyfulnana? My knee was a lot better yesterday, but my whole leg is pretty achy this morning. I may have to pop a couple more anti-inflamatories. (Didn't take any yesterday or last night). Dh is on antibiotics and his chest has improved, but he still has a head cold. He did say he was feeling a bit less achy today, and did say he may come with me to attend our nieces' dance performance tomorrow night. He has been "planning" to be too sick to go all week. I am looking forward to the performance, and also the chance to stop in at the LSS and at Michaels to spend my last gc's for Christmas gifts and also to pick up supplies for my next project as well as some much diminished necessities like glue and cardstock. Here are the last of my Christmas 2018 pages. Time to store all the Christmas themed goodies away until next fall when I will pull them out to make Christmas cards. Not a lot more scrapping this month. I need to store away my Christmas tree and decorations as well. I may earn a few more points this month if I manage tomorrow to pick up the supplies I need for the gift canvasses for my kids.
