I'm looking for a way to make banners. Not really huge ones, but smaller ones to use on my layouts. I know I can fold and snip off a triangle but I'm looking for something a little more accurate if I make several of them. I would link a picture, but I'm pretty incompetent.

I use my diamond punch and circle punch. I fold them both in half over a piece of twine (alternating shapes). I also have 5 or six punches that make banners if I want them to look more traditional.

On the rare occasion I need a banner, I'll use a die cut for it. Always straight, always a repeatable size, and they can have embossing or stitching. If you don't have a die cutting machine already, then a punch is probably more economical.

I have big and small die cuts, as well as a Cameo. But sometimes it's just quicker to make a template, esp if I only need a few. But the size you want, then mark the center and make a few snips. I'm one to notice if something is even slightly off, so I'll do the math, make a template, then trace and cut from my uber exact template.

You probably don't want to do this as it can be time intensive - I have a little banner stamp - that is a triangle with scallop edges. I either stamp on layout, or if I want to do something time intensive I will stamp on patterned paper and then fuzzy cut them out and stick down on a layout. If I want to be really crazy, I sew them together and attach to card so that they can move around !! I've also sewed them together and attached them between toothpicks and put them on top of a cake or cupcake as a birthday banner This is the stamp www.ebay.com/i/232090516794?chn=psThe scale is perfect for PL type layouts and cards. This stamp measures approximately 1-3/4" x 2-3/8"
