Was the woman who filmed or took pictures of her house to prove that she was wealthy the one who threatened to “sew” everyone and also said “ransorish”? I remember something about a picture of her pointing to a date on a newspaper with grown out acrylic nails. Maybe she was the one who bought all the torn bears.
So much happened on the old board. I registered the night the fit hit the shan with Lady Stars.

The lady that was burned badly from a plane crash-? and was a blogger, was on Oprah. She had a small clan of kids and was a little controversial -but I forget for what. And no one has mentioned Yubon, I don’t think ne-ne

Her name was Veronica Ponce, her husband is Carlos Ponce who was an actor. I believe he was on Seventh Heaven and other shows. They lived in Florida and had two biological sons and adopted twin girls from Russia. I believe they are divorced now. And I also think she is Marco Rubio's sister. Her photography was gorgeous, and she was very pretty and seemed like a really sweet pea. How many people just Googled Carlos Ponce to check him out? Just me? He’s going to wonder why he’s “trending “!!! 🤣🤣🤣

I remember there were a few spin off boards and that caused some controversy. I belonged to two of them.
One was a small private group "the other board" and there were accusations that we used it to talk shit about other peas behind their backs. It really wasn't like that at all. We mostly used it as a safe space to talk about sensitive subjects without fear of being judged harshly, ending up as slam blog fodder, or documented on a Pea spreadsheet.
Then there was one that was supposed to be for "wild" Peas but it really wasn't that scandalous. We all had risque' signature images and quotes and it was a bit more free wheeling. But nothing I'd call "wild".

I didn’t read through the whole thread but has Merkins been mentioned? Or the stuff people used to wax their hoo-ha? Cherrymoon’s drawings were hilarious.

How about the pea who was getting divorced and there was an issue with her DH's ties??? She posted his address and had everyone mail one to him. I liked the recent outing of AN and her alter ego (drawing a blank)...glad that alter ego of Lauren's has also stopped posting. AN has an alter? Her mom posted here for a long time, I haven't seen her in a long time. I think she and a bunch of the other conservatives left. Burning feathers account looked deactivated when it popped up on an old thread the other day. 😕

After PDR she had another name but I don’t remember what. She was very fragile emotionally and had low self esteem.. She was bullied one night and I never saw her again. Ah, yes. I vaguely remember that.

I don't know when, but probably 2002-2005ish, there was a pea who was posting a 'soap opera' thread. It was all fiction, but I believe it started with something crazy that happened to her (maybe with her bf at the time) and it turned into a long thread with everyone commenting, then she just started adding updates (we knew it was all stuff she was making up, that was the great fun of it - we would give her ideas to further the story). It was funny as hell and I remember checking in to see if that day's storyline had been added yet. It was hilarious. But I can't remember her name at all - my memory is awful for names. Zoobie! That was too funny. I still think about that every once in a while. I remember a lady who was getting some "chicks" (ducklings, I think, but she kept calling them chicks) for an Easter photo shoot or something, and she was asking if she could just let them go in the pond behind her house. People keep telling her CHICKENS CAN'T SWIM! And she was just all flustered. I also remember someone saying that they'd heard you shouldn't break pasta when cooking it, and someone else said, "Of course you can break it, it's pasta, not fiber optic cable."

Oh I was just going to mention this- she had several foster children. And someone phoned her home and her husband answered- she was alive and well. (Sass?? something) I think she came back later on and it was all kind of forgiven- she seemed a lot calmer. And there was the Pea who also had foster children that she home- schooled. One child was having to attend school ( not her choice) and she posted asking for advice on "bullet proof backpacks". ! And I think she nicknamed the little boy "Coffee or Cocoa" which caused mayhem as it seemed to be based on the colour of his skin. There was a lot more to these two- hopefully someone with a better memory than remember! Corinne That second woman you mention was a nutball. Wasn't she the one who posted how sad it made her, or how awful it was that mothers were glad when the school year started back up. I can't remember her name but I can picture her. I don't remember that lady's name but her thread was "I have a bee in my bonnet!" And she vented about moms who were so eager to "get rid" of their kids by sending them off to school every day. And then she went on to detail all the fun, quality time she'd be spending with her kids that summer...as she drove them around to different activities where she could dump them off! lol the irony was fabulous. I remember the "bee in my bonnet" thread title, because several peas eloquently told her what she could do with that bonnet.

Were there really tiers? That just seems so...tragic. There wasn't really. What there was is a clique consisting of women who all posted ALOT and all backed each other up. When they decided they didn't like someone they were all consistently awful to that poster, made fun of or ignoring them. Some people were kind of desperate to be in that group so the fawned all over those women whenever they posted anything. That's when all those "who do you want to meet in real life?" and "who do you want to have dinner with?" posts all got started with the weaker people all trying to impress the perceived "power group" because they either...wanted to be acknowledged, or wanted to avoid being their next target. The group was largely made up of many already mentioned, people like Monique, Seanna, Melanie (the fish avatar), Heartcat, Lauren for a time until she even managed to piss off the other mean girls and Oh Yvonne plus a quite few others who had massively high post counts. Other people would post something on a thread and it was ignored then one of those women would say the exact same thing and the rest of that group would all reply praising her wit and intelligence and great advice. This lead to the perception that there was a 'tier' system but there wasn't these women just made it look that way...and they basked it in while claiming to be innocent of any such goings on. I think gradually new people came in and were much more outspoken then they liked...me included, and who refused to back down and just kept posting no matter how ugly it got. Gradually people worked out that they had no power at all and it all fizzled out and many of them left. As an aside, many of those women with high post counts would suddenly vanish and then reappear a year or so later and mention they'd been away to deal with some stuff and had got divorced. Really? you were here day and night and have 120,000 posts...that's probably why your neglected husband started screwing someone else and you failed to notice. Colour me surprised.

I'm only caught up reading through page 8, so forgive me if this was already mentioned. Does anyone remember when some other website had a feature where you could "send" a virtual message in a bottle and it would show up across the sea in the inbox for some other random person across the world? I may not have the details exactly right, but it was something like that. And that website was shared on 2peas so many peas started participating and signing the name on the bottle-note with "pea...whatever their name was". And then on the other website, people were questioning/confused why all of a sudden so many messages had "pea" in the name. I hope I'm explaining all that correctly or you will all probably think I'm nuts Pam Wow!! Totally forgot about this! yes, remember this well, funny

She kept a blog until not long ago. She has, like, nine or ten kids now, most of them adopted. The bee in my bonnet woman was a Canadian whose husband owned a youth sports training facility I think?

I don't think they were the same person- "bee in my bonnet" was not a regular poster- bulletproof backpack mum was. She was very vocal about home schooling and I feel that she was blonde and relatively younger. I always thought "Bee in my bonnet" was a thread someone clever made up to get people riled up! Corinne

She popped in a year or two ago. I just searched and couldn’t find her so maybe she came back with a different user name. There had been some big changes in her life, including divorce. I think her daughter had gone to/finished college? I think you must be thinking of someone else, I’m FB friends with Kristen/KikiNichole and she’s definitely not divorced. Oh, carp, who am I thinking of? Longish brown hair, thin, one daughter. She came back, wrote about changes in her life, but didn’t stick around long. She was a frequent poster on the old board. Tangent: there was somebody else who came back for a short time. Single, Chicago, regaled us with stories about a mysterious “Mr. Darcy” from her work building she had a stranger crush on. She left suddenly because of online security concerns, deleted all her posts, came back a couple years later and said everything was fine, posted up a storm for a couple days, and disappeared again. I want to say “Delilah” but I also think that could be totally wrong...

The country music pea mentioned who had the bff having an affair with her not so dh loved Chris Young, who wasn’t well known at the time but has made a name for himself in recent years. I keep thinking about crafterbeth who ran marathons. I think she was from Nova Scotia and had stopped posting before the board closed. No controversy just a pea I enjoyed. This is has been quite the walk down memory lane. For a lot of the early stuff I was a lurker. I was very active on the CKMB and used to go to 2ps when it was quiet at CK but the peas terrified me!

I remember a thread where we were talking about things we liked about ourselves (I think that was the topic) and someone saying she was born with a sense of well-being. I was envious of that, as I'm basically the opposite--born with a sense of doom that I've been fighting my entire life.
Does anyone remember the pea, on this very board, who was diagnosed with advanced brain cancer and decided to forego treatment, against the will of her family and friends? I remember reading that on my phone when I was riding the train to work, and I wanted to remember who she was. She was comfortable with her decision and I just wanted to check in with her once in awhile, but I couldn't remember who it was or remember the thread title. I regret that I didn't.
