I have a weird memory and have all these Pea names that will randomly pop up in my mind.
Sherrie_N-Drewbie the Newbie in her signature and once got raked over the coals as a teacher that wouldn't take calls from parents at home.
Ariana-had a Wizard of Oz theme picture of her kids in her signature and got picked apart for the names of her kids
GeorgiaDawgz had two little blond boys and at least one was autistic.
The Altoona police!
Plus, DH's cousin was an HOF'er and I still have the magazines from that time.
The weird guy posting for a wife.

Ok reading more on this thread reminded me of the woman who posted all the pics of shelter puppies and kittens. She also posted other info about how to help shelter animals!. Her name was or started with the letters Vi. Does anyone else remember her?
Re: the LLP. For so many years I felt like the site skewed incredibly conservative, I can see why some liberals would start a smaller group. I'd imagine the more conservative members that we've lost in the past few years have done the same. At least I hope so. I miss many of them.
Re: the Grumps group. Probably 6 dozen are still in touch all these years (it's about 15) later.

There was also a lady that went by V that owned, or worked with a dog rescue, and would post a lot of dogs that needed adopted. I miss her posts.

I remember a gal I think she lived in the north east who had a really cute little kid with curly brown hair who and lived in a really cute house. I think she was into using an old press to make engraved wedding cards/invitations. I always liked her. Can't think of her name. Oh her name is on the tip of my tongue - starts with a P I think? PDR who morphed into something else. Very talented but sad too.

Was it here that there was a well-known member that was a pagan or something & outed as a fraud in some way? I’m remembering a stunning profile picture in a red gown. Scrappower, I believe was the name. That was so interesting. I really wish I knew all the back story.
I remember a person named Melissa, I think, that had some kind of donation thing going to go pick up a dog from another state. I vaguely remember reading page after page after page about the drama that ensued and knew this site was just crazy enough to call home.
Yes! Scrapower! I can’t remember exactly what happened but it seemed like a shocker at the time.

And another pea who could take a sample of anyone's handwriting and turn it into a type-able font. I never got around to making mine. I haven't read all the replies yet so someone may have already mentioned this...... I'm pretty sure that's Amanda from KevinandAmanda. I bought a digital scrapbooking template just the other day and the font they'd used was called Pea Erika, and there was a link to the kevinandamanda site to download the font. She actually has a whole section on the website called "Fonts for Peas" !

If I remember, she posted a picture saying it was of her at a Wiccan wedding or something, but it didn’t take long for the Peas to figure out it was an internet photo. I think where shit went south was when she was called out on it, instead of fessing up and moving on, she doubled down and got nasty.

After PDR she had another name but I don’t remember what. She was very fragile emotionally and had low self esteem.. She was bullied one night and I never saw her again.

Such funny timing for this thread - I was just thinking about the old board a couple of days ago. I came across two peas around 1998 or 1999 and lurked for a LOOOOONG time since I was very intimidated by some of the hero worship and the hand slapping. I never did post a lot, same as here, but I spent many hours reading. I remember a group of peas who seemed to know one another in real life - I don't remember any names but one poster had a husband/partner in the military and he was posted to Iraq and she was a night auditor, which was a new term for me, perhaps why I remember her. Does anyone remember Starla? Her kids names all had an X in them, her husband was also military and she had the most amazing eye for decorating and she would post pictures of the transformation she would make to their married quarters. I lived in married quarters as well and I was in awe of her talent to make hers so amazing without paint or nails. And how about Hunzer? She was a lot of fun I thought and I was very sad when she posted about her dick of a husband. I remember the dinner threads, not because I was never mentioned, lol, but for the same reasons auntkelly mentioned - there seemed to be a lot of self-esteem issues with some folks, both too big and too small...
I remember Hunzer. She was also on the unscrappable message board, as was I. That board closed and the members split and started new boards. I (along with Hunzer)was on the one started by a lady named Brandi(with Shimmy, Jo, Roxie, Beth, Peekay, Hunzer, and others etc.. My computer crashed and I lost my bookmarks and couldn't find the board again, and lost touch with them. I found an old Christmas card with one of their addresses and sent a card with my phone number so I could reconnect, but never heard anything. They were so nice, wish I could reconnect with them.

I think maybe her name was possibly Brooklyn and she had a baby girl. For some reason I am thinking she might have given the baby up for adoption and then later married a country musician. I am not sure that I am getting the whole story correct so please do correct me if I am wrong. delila She was a young girl who had a very open adoption, she posted all sorts of stuff about the child, enough that I think people were able to figure out where the adopted parents lived or their names or something. Pea detectives are crazy scary. I just don’t understand how they can find stuff like that out, figure out where Mrs. Tyler works, expose the Star Lady and all sorts of other stuff but can’t figure out who the hell David Holmes is!

I came over from scrapjazz after being warned about "the veggie site" there. But I honestly don't remember a lot of the extreme drama people mention. I either showed up just after that or wasn't involved in those threads. I lurked a lot. I was quite active on an Australian scrapbooking site, as well as being a member on 2 Peas (but I didn't post much). I didn't know that 2 Peas NSBR had a bad reputation at the time. Another member of the Australian site was also on 2 Peas, and one day she posted something that I found really funny - like "spit my tea out" funny - so I posted a link to it on the Australian site. Well, I found out very quickly that the other members of the Australian site were NOT fans of 2 Peas. I felt so bad that I'd brought it to the attention of the others that she and I were on 2 Peas. So I guess now is a good time to apologise to scrapalotomous for that! (She probably doesn't remember!) I was also on Scrapjazz before I came to 2 Peas. They used to have separate boards for different countries, and I enjoyed posting on the Australian board. I ended up leaving there after two members were kicked off the site. The reason? They were sisters and one lived in the US and one lived in Australia. They used to chat all the time on the board, and someone decided that they should not be allowed to use the site for their personal conversations, they should use email instead. I can't remember whether they were actually banned or whether the resulting arguments about the situation caused them to leave, but I realised that it was not the place for me.

Yes, I remember that too! I'd have tears rolling down my cheeks as I read her weekly updates. That was one of the funniest things ever on here. Does anyone remember a post about Baby Jesus -- or was it angels? -- hanging up on a bulletin board? And then someone put that as their tagline? Oh! Cara in TX used it. She's not here anymore, is she? I wonder what happened to her. Lisa I loved those threads. I remember I actually made it into one of her weekly updates and I was flabbergasted that anyone even knew me to remember to include me since I wasn't exactly an "A" list board member. Lol I was just thinking about Cara the other day and wondering how she is doing. She is a facebook friend but not sure if she is still on this board. I remember her Charlie Brown characters she painted for her lawn! Very cool

This is not really Pea Related, but maybe it is, there was another board/site started around the time of HOFgate as an antidote(that is totally not the right word, but I can’t think of a better one) to the peas. It was super happy sunshine and rainbows, does anyone remember what it was or who started it? I know they had a store because I ordered a kit from them, but it didn’t last terribly long, maybe a year or so. Anyone know what I am talking about?

In Mrs. Tyler's case, it was easy to figure out. She used her real last name, told people where she lived and what she did for a living, and posted layouts with her real first name on them. She sure wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. I remember the cliques, the mean peas, and the true nut jobs like Skybar. I also remember people whining about the smack blog when the people on 2P were just as mean.

I loved the Star Wars crop threads. That chick that was super in love with Hayden Christensen and hijacked my Star Wars thread and turned it into an eleventy million page Hayden Lovefest. I was several of the Star Wars alters, including Darth Layout, Luke Skycropper, Han Kolo and Gluebacca. I don't remember the Hayden Christensen stuff, but it probably annoyed me, because he's annoying and part of the lame Star Wars movies. Loved loved loved the star wars threads. Thank you for those!

The pea with the feet pic avatar was FrugalScrapper and now she’s refugeepea. I also remember the pea that was in love with Hayden Christensen. She had a blog where she tracked her fitness and talked about her “Hay Hay” fan fiction. She also once said that she was attracted to young men as in teen boys.

I agree that Cherry Eye was hilarious. I was sad when she was outed. I loved coming across her totally random posts. I also thought Dr Phil was hilarious. That pea was also outed. She was a Texas pea but I don’t remember her name. Her location was the piney woods of east Texas or something like that.
