I truly wonder about the person who wanted that home designed? Are they eccentric? Whimsical? Do they love fairy tales? It's fascinating.

Most of it's beautiful but the bath with the steps is an accident waiting to happen and why did someone let a giant candle dribble down the outside? That's really ugly.

Some features are very pretty but all in all, it is not calling my name.
One has to wonder what inspired the architect.

That big ugly “candle dribble” must go. And the chandeliers. But, Next to the cave house , which I would love to buy? I LOVE IT.
I like the bathtub with the steps, but it does need a rail ( and I would make the steps wider). My husband is 6’4” with a bad back. That tub would be so easy to get him in and out of.

I'd love to see it in person, too. Far too much house for me but it is interesting.

You have an enormous room with the bed stuck off more in a corner? That would be great if you have one person who likes to sleep on the inside and one who likes to sleep with it open, but it just seems so ... unbalanced? to me. Just a tad bit out of my price range.

Overall, I really like it. A few things are weird, but if I had the money to buy it, I'd probably have the money to fix it the way I wanted. For starters, there aren't any curtains on the bedroom windows.
The tub with the stairs looks like a curled up snake to me.
Picture 46 reminds me of waiting in line for rides at Disneyland.

Love the surrounding property, but the house is not my cup of tea.

With that prime location and stunning views, they should have let those features be the focus. Instead, the focus is... all over the place. Holy overdone architecture, Batman. It's all too much.
And, damn. If you're going to ask upwards of $5 million for a home at least have the photos in focus. Some were incredibly blurry and it was really hard to tell exactly what you were looking in others that went for some weird artsy twist. Just poorly done.

I think the architect lost the design battle with the homeowner on this one. What struck me most was the massive bedrooms with sitting areas and very little shared living space for a family to gather. Thanks for sharing.

Which one? Master bed was cool, but one of the guest rooms had an interesting bed also.

I think the owner has no children, or at least no children in the home....no family to gather.
I noticed the bedrooms were called "guest rooms" and set up as if someone was in a hotel or ? and going to stay in the room and not interact with anyone else. Sitting/TV area and bed area.

Architecture wise, I think the house is fascinating and has some really nice features. I love all the windows. But I don’t like the way it is decorated.
I looked at the Zillow home value tab and it is only worth $2.4 million. It may be hard to get a loan if the banks don’t think the house is worth $5 million.

I live about an hour from there. How do I not know about this house? That area has some prime real estate.

what's that they say about Location, Location, Location. The house is pretty in some areas, old fashioned and OTT in others but boy, that's position is to die for.

This is what I expect in a real estate listing brought to you by 2PR! Awesome location and cool house but I don't know if I would want to LIVE in that house. Maybe vacation for a couple weeks. All those stairs! I kept looking for the pool. I know there is the lake but where is the pool? Maybe that is just the Florida in me...

My arthritic knees hurt looking at all those stairways. Definitely not the house for me. The view is lovely though.

all that and only 4 bedrooms? Interesting though, I like the land. I am not a circular person, I like 90 degree angles so all those window would have to go

There wasn’t much I liked it those pictures. It’s so over the top with all the details, to me it all competes with itself and makes it ugly to me. Not a fan, except the view.
