Hello ladies! I made it back to the farm. We had a sportsman "dinner/conference/event" Saturday evening. Don has been 5 years in row, DS 3, this was DD's 2nd, and my 1st. They sold it because there is usually some sort of animals at the show. This year there was none, so I was a bit bummed, but it was still very informative and fun. They have speakers and give away prizes. Then it's just been getting things done. I took some time Sunday evening to read through the February challenges and the 28-4-28 challenges. I was happy to see I had been earning points last week by commenting on the layouts shared. I also took the time to create a layout yesterday and another today. Woot Woot! kellyr21, I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well. I hope that you feel better quickly. DD & I tried the poured paint on the cheap once. I bought the floetrol in December so we could try it again, but we haven't had the time. Can't wait to see your results. woodysbetty, I had to laugh at your internet. One of the things I was excited about due to moving to civilization (granted we're still small town countryesque setting) was that I could get cable internet. OM! We were loving the quickness of it last week. Now back at the farm, DS & I have both lamented the loss of the cable at least once. Good luck furniture shopping. maribeth, fabulous layouts. I especially like your Sleeping Beauties. Do you still celebrate National "X" Days? nylene, The sad thing is my dh can cook. He can cook well. He's just a jerk, but a lovable one. You are such a sweet Grandma to take Alex to school. Becareful if the weather is bad. elayne, that's a beautiful card for your friend. I think it's very sweet of you to send her a card a day. I have several thinking of you cards or card fronts that I could quickly turn into cards for you. They were part of card or card front swaps. I will get some sent to out this week to you. I thought your 2nd card was a layout at first glance. I like Thomas Kinkaid's work. grammadee, hoping for an easy recovery for your DH and that all goes spectacularly well. joyfulnana, I feel the same way about the weather. I'm so ready for spring. justlisa7, I haven't been on IG in several days to see what you're up to. I really like seeing your dg's photos. I'm hoping to get some time tonight to go to the share thread since it's been since Friday. I'm hoping it's not too bad/long to catch up. Waving hi to patin, msliz, and justjac.

Hey Pokeys- Sorry I haven't been around m'uch. Ive been reading, just not posting. I usually pea from my phone & it is hard to type long messages on that.
maribeth - Gurl, you are on fire this month. I am enjoying all your work. Where is that beautiful Church & are you the Pea who is photographing County courthouses? Sorry- honestly I don't keep a spreadsheet & my mind is a little rusty. LisaDV - You , grammadee & nylene make me tired with all you get done! I can;t imagine moving again- especially in winter. So you will have 2 homes? & you homeschool?& you are heading up MY team for the February challenge. That is awesome. I hope you new home comes together the way you envision & quickly. joyfulnana - Even though i am a HUGE Bronco fan, I was hoping your KC Chiefs would beat those Cheatriots! Patrick Mahomes is really somethin'. Hope you are staying warm & enjoying your knitting & scrapping. @justlisa- hope everyone is getting over the sickness. What a b lessing that you are close to watch he grands. My girls who have Littles at home still are able to be home with them when they are ill,. I am glad I don't have to drive 90 miles to help outin bad weather. @kelly21- So when the Broncos didn't make the playoffs & then not the Chiefs, I switched allegiances to the Rams. I must be bad luck as the Patriots prevailed once again. When is your actual anniversary. My DH & I celebrated 47 years on 1/28 & I thought we might share the same date. woodysbetty - I can't wait to see your new home. I bet you are enjoying the weather. It seems like most of the country has been slammed this winter. We moved to our retirement home with MY thoughts of spending winters in AZ. I guess I forgot to clue DH on that plan, as we have hunkered in for the past 13 winters. The wonderful thing about CO is the 300 days of sunshine, so the doom & gloom & the snow don't last too long. The nice thing about being retired is that we can just stay home when it's nasty out. I don't miss scraping the windshield & white-knuckling it to work @ 6 a.m. grammadee - I hope your DH's appointment goes smoothly. Do you have to go far for the appointment? Please rest. I am enjoying your LO's nylene - The rest instruction goes for you too, Missy. I hope your knees are doing better also. Beautiful LO's nylene. Do you keep the pages or do you give them to your kids/grandkids? @elaynef - I am so sorry for your friend. What a wonderful encouragement you are to her. Would you please pm me your address? I looked to see if I had it from Christmas, but I do not. I have a couple of cards that you might send her. Also, i could stamp some sentiments for you to use on cards as you see fit. What color/colors would you like them in?
I am hoping to get a few more LO's done. I am enjoying both the challenges & the 28-4-28 challenge, although I am sure I won't get them all done. Both DH & I have a bunch of appointments the next 2 weeks. I am dealing with some heart issues & next month barring any problems with the heart need some extensive skin cancer surgery. My DH has diabetes & we have to visit a nephrologist for his kidney function...so if you are Praying Peas, please send up a prayer for us. Thanks!

kellyr21 , I forgot to tell you that Angie's kids did "pour painting art" last summer at their other grandma's camping event. Jon's brother who is also an artist taught all the kids. They turned out beautifully. I want to see what you do!! patin , I am definitely a praying pea and will keep both of you (as well as grammadee & DH) in my prayers. Have you had heart issues for a while? Hang in there. Congrats on 47 years of marriage. I talked my DD into going to the Dr. tomorrow morning so I will have little Alex. I don't get anything done with him here, but he is so much fun. He wants to craft, craft, craft the whole morning. Have a great week, everyone.

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are doing well today. I plan to have some art time. I even worked on a layout last week!!! I need to finish it and I will post it here. It felt good to do a scrapbook page after all this time. I am also playing around on my art table and looking forward to seeing what happens. I saw a YouTube video with the person pouring paint on a canvas so that is what I am trying. Messy and fun! LOL! nylene- Oh, I hope your dgd had fun out here. I haven't been to Disneyland in ages. Maybe dh and I will go someday. This weeks craft group meets on Valentine's Day. SO if they are meeting, I hope to be there. If not next week. My dh and I can celebrate later that night. @elaynef- You are such a kind soul and your friend is so blessed to have your support. Waving hello to you all and have a great evening!

patin- Our wedding anniversary was Jan 28, too! We are on the same day. We celebrated 13 years. Congrats on your 47th. The big 50 is near. Wonderful! My in-laws are on Jan. 30th. Have you all ever renewed your vows? I have thought about it. Maybe on our 15th. I know what you mean about changing football teams. I cheer for the Rams just cause they are back in town and good but if they are terrible, I will probably pick another team. The Los Angeles Lakers are the only team I will never give up. nylene LisaDV- Yeah, that pouring art is fun. So cool to hear your kids tried it. I tried it and it turns out so abstract and marbled looking. So I am off to try it again. I will post pictures. LisaDV- I am feeling better but still not 100%. All this art will be good medicine for me. woodysbetty- Yoga is good! So glad you can practice this while in a stressful home building/décor mode. What is your favorite pose? I do chair yoga and I like the one where you move your bent arms in a circular motion. Gets that tension out of my back. Hang in there!

Happy belated 47th anniversary, patin. Amazing your special date is the same as kellyr21! I hope that all your medical tests and procedures go well. As scrapincin used to say, “Getting old(er) is not for wimps! Dh’s procedure went well today. They cleared out the problem stent and extended it. He was really pessimistic going in, but he is back at the hotel again now, and really positive. Do you think they gave him some happy juice? I spent the day running a few errands and making a batch of cards for @elaynef. They are pretty simple, basically gluing bits & bobs together. I didn’t have my dies, and only one punch, but I did have a couple of 6x6” pads and a bunch of purchased diecut that worked with them. I took photos of the cards (finished 16) and will share after I get home. I also started a valentine for dh, but want to do a bit of embossing on that when I get home. Have fun with Alex, nylene! Dd’s Little guy FaceTimed Grampa this afternoon. He was quite proud of all the valentines he was signing. Great that you are feeling better, kellyr21 and that you are diving right into art. I would love to try pour painting at some point. It sounds like fun! Hope all is well back at the farm, LisaDV. Even with the Pokey internet.

Hi Pokeys!! Of course, to make a crazy time crazier, I broke a filling in a molar so off to a brand new dentisr today!! I was so proud that I saw my dentist for a cleaning and checkup right before I left so I had time before I did the dental search...oh well best laid plans ... nylene house plot is staked so we should be moving to the foundation in the few days!! Progress!! LisaDV cable is still spotty, so missing the high speed of Maryland and hoping it will be better in the new house...but the furniture shopping is yielding results!! Bedrooms, and family room ordered!! YAY! patin funny how their plans for. retirement are so different than ours..I never expected to land in Florida either but I'm glad I did. I love how cozy your house sound!! I will post pics as our new house goes up!! joyfulnana sending special warm wishes your way!! Hope the 40's finds you soon!! kellyr21 my favorite pose is Wheel love an inversion with a backbend but Downdog is my wakeup pose. Stretches and wakes everything up!! Enjoy your practice should circles are so great to open your back...also works your abdominals if you lengthen as you do them...notice how your energy shifts after your practice!! Jai!! Well off to novacane land hope everyone has a great day!!

Thank you, I am doing LOAD so I am trying to stay on track with it. My long work hours hinders my scraftiness quite a bit. The church is south of Tucson, AZ. Yes I am the one scrapbooking the County Courthouses. Wish I could photograph them all but alas I had to realize that was not in the stars for me, so I gladly accept photos from others who will send me them.

Love scrapincin 's take on old(er) age! I am so glad things went well. I hope your trip back home is uneventful. kellyr21 , I will love seeing your artwork. My grands were so proud of their pour painting. Such beautiful marbley canvases. I think they hung them in their bedrooms. I hope you continue to improve. It's no fun feeling lousy. Take it easy. How fun that you share your anniversary with patin ! Must have been a very special day. (a few years apart). We share our anniversary with Angie & Jon. I spent the morning with Alex and may have him again tomorrow. DD is seeing her Dr. today. Her cough sounds very bad. Alex came into my scraproom and said, I want to see the picture of the funny things I say. I pulled my album down and he spent at least 10 minutes looking and talking about the pages of him and his cousins. It did my heart good! It makes this scrapping even more worthwhile. I really do it mainly as a stress reliever and a chance to be creative. I'm off to the plumbing store so DH can get some parts to fix a toilet. I'm glad he has the desire and knowhow to do things like this. (youtube is his friend!)

Do you think they gave him some happy juice? Is the happy juice still working, Gramadee.....that would be handy to keep in the medicine cabinet for dh. Made my friend a mini scrapbook (6 Pages) this morning with left overs from those Palmetto State Park pics that I've been working on for 2 months!

We arrived home yesterday afternoon. Dh seems to be doing well now that he has gone back onto his regular medication routine. He is busy researching the procedure and putting everything into the folder he wants to take to coffee tomorrow when he is allowed to drive again. Plumbing trouble is the worst, nylene. I hope your dh was able to solve the problem. Were you able to pick up the right pieces he needed? I now get dh to call ahead and leave a specific order for me to pick up: I think of hardware stores as the Places that Time Forgot. An hour in a scrapbook store is Heaven. A few minutes in Princess Auto or Peavy Mart drives me crazy... Good luck with the new dentist, woodysbetty. That is no picnic, either. My physio therapist is giving us some basic yoga stretches as part of our routine. I am pretty flexible in some ways and pretty NOT flexible in others! Good to see you are keeping up on LOAD, maribeth and justjac. I am behind in leaving love for your creations. Hope to get caught up on all things scrappy on the weekend. Today the bus is a GO for the trip to the museum that was postponed last week. I will be going but dh is staying home. His sister called last night and she is on the list to go. We have a 2-3 hour bus ride, then a tour of the new museum in Edmonton. They have always blended history, topography, and technology in their displays, so I am interested to what they have in their new venue. Hoping I will be able to take photos with my iPhone in there. I have a tentative Physio appointment for Friday; need to confirm in the morning. If so, I can include a trip to the photo place to print pic's. I have all the archival family photos on a stick and want to choose a couple to put on my Donna challenge page this month. Plus I have some pic's of my birthday supper and some on my phone that the kids sent as well. I hope to get @elaynef's cards into the post office tomorrow as well.

woodysbetty, I hope the new DDS was a good one and you are all better. I think I hate shopping for a new DDS more than a new Dr. and that's saying something. maribeth, patriotic pages and ones on reading get me every time!! Plus I have a hard time saying no to supplies dealing with both, but I try. I love the stars coming off your sparkler and the pinwheel. Beautiful. Lions, tigers & bears: Great title. Poor Bandit for getting scared but YAY for facing his fears. @elaynef, lovely photo and great page. Your friend will enjoy it. I turned card fronts into cards yesterday morning and then forgot them when I went out to run errands. Duffus points for me. I did pick up an envelope so I will have it all ready next time I go. Is the happy juice still working, Gramadee.....that would be handy to keep in the medicine cabinet for dh. Heck, I want the happy juice for myself. Then DH can do whatever he wants. Although DD could have used a shot of that stuff 2 days ago - luckily she woke in a better mood yesterday. nylene, how's dd? That's so sweet of Alex. It does make what we do worthwhile. YouTube is our friend here as well. grammadee, I hope you had a great birthday trip yesterday. Did you get to take photos? How's DH doing? kellyr21, you are too sweet. Are you feeling better? justjac, I hadn't seen your LOAD layouts this month, but was just in the gallery to fave a layout and saw that you're posting there. I'll try to get back sometime soon to view them as I always love seeing your LOAD layouts. I usually get something for the kids for Valentine's day and do something food wise. When they were little it was easy - a candy and a book - then whatever their favorite food was at the moment. Now with dd's food issues she should stay away from too much sugar, candy is out, and they have so many books I wouldn't know what to get unless they told me. So in their cards yesterday was a day with mom and a day with dad independently. DD & I love art days, so I'm thinking that's what we'll do and DS loves to hike but due to Dd's issues he doesn't get to go often, so I'm thinking we'll go hiking. I even included tentative dates, just waiting on DH to check his calendar. Today, I'm hoping to get a little scrap time.

Good Friday morning, Pokeys! What a cool thing to do for your kids for Valentines Day, LisaDV . And that little mini book is a thoughtful gesture as well, @elaynef, and so pretty! The museum trip was good. I enjoyed it. Got a few photos and saved a coffee sleeve with the logo on it. Won't be able to print the photos until Tuesday now, but I can scrap them next week. Spent the morning getting stuff ready to put into the mail when I was supposed to be going to my physio appointment. But when I called in to confirm the therapist is not available, so I won't be going until Tuesday, now. So I guess on Tuesday I will be ready super early LOL. A lady may want to ride with me on Tuesday, but she will have to agree to go early enough that I can drop my photos off for printing before the session and then we can pick them up later. Hoping she can meet me in town, so then I can get my post office stuff done before we leave for the next town for the PT class. When I realized I was home for the day, I settled in to leave love in the sharing threads and the Gallery. So much creativity going on here! Dh has gone to town, and I was thinking I might be able to put a page or two together, but Mojo has flown the coop. I may pull out some photos and go through some of my Silhouette library for cutfiles to use for next Friday's sample, but then just relax for the rest of the day. I have housework to catch up on after being gone all week. I also have a bunch of TV programs PVR'd. Hmmm...

grammadee, the folded birthday card is a Design Store file: a2 happy birthday present. Did you find some fun files to add to your collection? I'm glad you had a good birthday trip. I'm sorry your mojo has left home, but taking it easy all day sounds right to me. LisaDV, I miss doing Valentine things for my kids. Your idea of time with you and DH sounds like a wonderful present, not only for the kids but for the parents too. DD is still under the weather but her DH took a day off to help her. Hi, Sweet kellyr21! I hope you are feeling well. Did you and Ron do anything fun for Valentine's Day. We had an Addiction Recovery meeting last night, but only had one participant. We were surprised to see anyone on the holiday. DH and I celebrated earlier in the week at a 4-H banquet. woodysbetty, how is the mouth after the DDS treatment? Are you enjoying the warm weather. You know those of us in the north are jealous! What fun to see the foundation going in. That means it's really happening! maribeth, you are really on a roll. I don't know how you keep up. I am now 5 days behind on 29-4-28. Takes me forever to decide what to do, use, embellish, etc. I'm enjoying your pages. elayne, you are a Star Scrapper this month. You are doing a great job and I am taking notes. Lots of good ideas on those pages. I am so impressed with your flora and fauna photos like on your Palmetto Trail page. I always forget to get photos of the things around me. joyfulnana, has it warmed up for you? We had rain all day yesterday and last night and it melted most of the snow off, but they say more is coming. justlisa7, how are you doing? justjac, I'm enjoying your LOAD work in the gallery. patin, I'm loving all of your beautiful pages!! msliz, are you still scrapping this month or did life catch up to you? I need to run. I can hardly find the tables in my room. I need to put everything away and pull things for my next project. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.

HI All!! Hope everyone had a fun valentines day!! My DH gave me the funniest cup I will have to keep hidden from our DGD. It says F**k Valentines Day - I love you every day..surrounded by hearts...he is a nut!! Dentist visit was not great...I sat and waited for an hour and half past my appointment time and when I walked up to the desk to ask about the wait, I was told it's how they do things...well I explained that's very nice, I'll find a new practice and walked out. Good Grief! Thank heavens my tooth isn't hurting !! The best part is the next day I get an automated email from the practice saying, we missed you at your appointment, would you like to reschedule. Their darn auto-replies are more efficient than the staff....anyway found a new practice and going to try again on Wednesday...yikes!! @elaynef love that mini album...what a lovely gift!! grammadee your muscles that are more flexible are probably stronger...sounds crazy but flexibility comes from strengthening and engaging muscles. Ask you Physio about reciprocal stretching...it's when you engage one muscle to allow another to release. Think of how your hamstrings release when you engage your quads...yes, I love anatomy!!! kellyr21 I am still smiling about your thoughtful card gesture...your request came at a lonley moment here!! Huge Hugs!! LisaDV the worst part of the dental search is my last dentist was also a dear friend that I loved hanging out with! How often does your dentist become a "real friend"...irreplaceable!! nylene I am loving this more temperate climate and shudder for all the weather my northern friends are facing...but I am not ready to swim when it's high 70's even though lots do!!! Headed to a yoga class and then to a stamping expo show which sounds interesting...I hope to find an LSS!!

Happy sunday girls!! grammadee - glad your husband is doing well! Enjoy your museum trip! patin - keeping you in my prayers!! Praying God heals you! woodysbetty - exciting for a new home being built! hoping your new dentist works out better when you find them. elayne - such a sweet gift is a mini album! She will love it! nylene - they offer the addiction recovery meetings one night a week at our church too. Even if you help one person - that is so awesome! LisaDV - love your idea for coupons for your children for one on one mom and dad days. We used to do stuff like that with our girls too! Hope everyone else is doing well!! joyfulnana - spending freeze is still going good (besides the $9 at aliexpress). How about you? I have to say, I was very tempted by Citrus Twist, Ali Edwards Story kit Pieces and Felicity Jane for February - but I have held strong!! 😳 maribeth - your layouts are lovely and you are on a super roll! justjac - I will have to check your layouts out too! Congrats kellyr21 and patin on your anniversaries!! Been so busy lately with grandkids! We went to LEGOland Friday with the grandkids and had a great time! Yesterday I went to huge antique/farmer market/ flea market extravaganza they have 3 times a year with my mom that was amazing and bought some very cool things as well some produce and lots of flowers too. We then went to a tea room for lunch that was delicious. Last night my oldest grandson had a very high fever and my daughter took him to the children’s hospital. His fever was 106.1 when he got there and they got it down and did tests and he has the flu and is very contagious and out of school for the next week too. His asthma is acting up too. Poor little guys is only 5 years old. Hoping his brothers and parents don’t get it or us. I am hoping to find a little time to scrapbook today and tomorrow as I am off work. I have only done the two layouts which I still need to post. So wish I could post directly from Instagram.

Oh, justlisa7, I hope your dgs recovers soon and that he has not been too generous with his germs! Sounds like you have had a really busy weekend with Legoland and the Farmers market as well as tea with your mom. Hope you have some time to relax on your remaining days off. I am not on IG but I think there is a way to link from there. I am going to start a thread about linking photos and I will tag you there. woodysbetty, it sounds like you are settling in down in Florida, but maybe you will need to get used to a new lay back pace? Hopefully the next dentist's office will be more efficient. Love your Valentine mug: your dh is a keeper!

Hahahaha woodysbetty that cup is awesome! My boss gave me something similar for Christmas, It said "A wise woman once said F**K this s**t and she lived happily ever after" It's my favorite wine glass lol. That's so cool that you have found crafty groups to be part of already. Wow, service is definitely not the strong suit for that dentists office, I hope your next one goes better. I've been looking for a new GP, because I don't like the staff at my current Dr's office. justlisa7 I hope DGS is doing better! It's so scary when they get so sick, and it seems like the flu bugs are sooo much worse than they were when I was growing up. Legoland and tea with your mom sounds so fun! My spending freeze is going well. I did pick up an album and some stickers to finish a layout I was working on, but otherwise I'm good. I didn't think it would be so easy not to shop. I have even tried to shop and just can't find anything I want bad enough to break my freeze lol. I don't recognize myself right now lol. nylene I hope you got more crafting done this weekend! I did manage a bit. It's no warmer. We had 6 more inches Friday that came down at about an inch an hour and really jacked with the traffic. Lots of car crashes, and a smaller amount coming Tuesday. It's becoming a real pain to schedule things with snow coming every few days. And being homebound is starting to make me a little crazy lol. LisaDV your Valentine gifts for the kids sound wonderful! How did they like them? I need to go to my mom's as soon as the weather settles down and scrap with her. We don't get much done except to chat, but it's fun lol. kellyr21 I would love to see some of your art! Pour painting looks interesting, but messy. Too messy for where I live I think, but I love seeing what others do with it. @elaynef I bet your friend loved the mini album! That's so sweet of you! Mini albums are something I have tried in the past, but don't know what to do with them once they are finished, so I don't make them anymore. grammadee I hope your mojo came back! I keep reminding myself of what you've said about just getting started and it gets easier, and that seems to be working for me this month. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

justlisa7, how is your DGS doing? I hope he's improving and that the rest of the family has not caught it. Flu can be very dangerous for little guys and old people. Hugs patin, how are you doing healthwise? I hope you and DH are ok. I think my scrapping mojo has disappeared for a while. I have been making cards, but can't seem to get excited about finding photos to scrap. It could be because my scraproom is a mess. If I clean up all the card mess, I think the mojo will return. The challenges this month have certainly helped.

nylene - fever is gone but he is still contagious. Praying nobody else gets it. Another child in his class also is out this week with the flu too. So far nobody else has got it. thank you for asking!
