I have 12 hours of driving next weekend and I am thinking of getting the audio book version. Anyone done this for this book?

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

I read it, I liked it. Don't get me wrong both lead characters were horrible people but I loved it because of the twist at the end. Not at all the typical or expected way to end a book.
I've heard that they rewrote the ending for the movie. I don't know how true that is, but I don't want to see it if its not true to the book.

Hsted it. Very disappointed. I'm not a fan of Ben Aflack, so I doubt I will be seeing it.

I heard that, too, and I know that the author of the book wrote the screenplay, which is innnnnnnteresting (strokes chin). I read her other two books, too, and she has quite the dark outlook. Quite (strokes chin, finds hair).

Hate it so much because of the ending. I actually got mad because I wasted that time reading it. I hate when people have piece of sh*t endings. Sometimes they make movies end differently though....maybe that will happen here. That would be nice. Hopefully someone who sees it will post about it.

I read it. It wasn't my favorite book but the twists kept me reading it. I want to see the movie.

So I saw the movie last night! My mom and I went together and we both really enjoyed it. They left some things out, but nothing that I felt was more important than what they left in. As a book reader I felt less sympathy towards Amy while watching the movie. Oddly I felt more sympathy towards Nick during the film, even though I hated him while I was reading the book. The cheating thing made a bigger impact on me while reading the book than while watching the movie. The movie is a graphic (lots of sex, some violence) so if you don't like watching that kind of stuff I would steer clear. Spoilers about the ending to follow, do not read if you don't want to know the ending. SPOILER ALERT : They left the ending pretty much the same. Crap. Still hated the ending but the movie itself really made up for it.

I really liked the book. Well, I don't know if "like" is quite the right word. I don't need characters to be likeable, I just need them to be interesting. Nick and Amy, especially Amy, are two of the most interesting characters I've read in recent memory. They are so royally effed up. I even "liked" the ending that so many people hate. It's exactly what would happen in real life if such a story could take place in real life.
I listened to the audiobook. The production was amazing. They used two narrators, one for Nick's chapters and one for Amy's. They were perfectly cast.
