Hi everyone  October is one of those months that almost has it's own colour palette to it - the colours of the changing leaves, the colours of Halloween... I wanted this mood board to work for those kinds of layouts, but I also wanted it to work for those not in the northern hemisphere who are leaving winter behind and heading towards all the colours of spring... There are two links to free printables included this month, both of feathers... You can click through to them by going to the mood board on Pinterest, or click here for the line sketch feathers, or here for the block print style ones... As always, everyone is welcome and you can follow the mood board as much or as little as you want... Feel free to post your projects here in the thread or post links to the projects on your blog... Nothing too fancy on this layout, and I ended up using more colour than I thought I would... Certainly more purple than I've ever used...lol But it was fun to try out my new stamp and die set  |

The quote is from a stamp set by Inkadinkado called Autumn Foliage... I got the stamp at Michael's here in Canada... Not sure if the selection here is the same as in other places... Let me know if you want a picture of the set or info from the package... The trees and log are from a Lawn Fawn set that's out now - it's called Joy To The Woods, and it has a matching die set with it... It's really cute and versatile - trees, logs, animals, Christmas ornaments, holly, a birdhouse... Except for the Christmas ornaments and holly, the rest could be used for any season... I think that you could use two of the ornaments for any holiday/celebration - stamp/draw a heart on them for Valentine's, colour them like eggs for Easter, etc... I ordered that set right from Lawn Fawn's website... This is a link to the stamps, and it has a link to the dies on that page too www.lawnfawn.com/products/joy-to-the-woodsThe feathers are a free printable, so if you like them check out the link at the top of the thread for the block print style feathers...
