Oh sleepingbooty! This time of year has not been good for you the last two years! Your poor mom. I am so sorry to hear of another accident and for how worn out you are. Big, ginormous hugs! 🤗

I am hoping to play along. My latest focus has been editing and getting photos ready to scrap. I had to load some archived photo onto my computer but now that is done I have been able to plan a few pages from 8 years ago. Yeah!

Looking forward to the crop this weekend. Here is a quick pic (sorry for glares causing discolor on plastic covering on album, PL card pack, etc). It includes an Ali Edwards 6x8 unopened/ sealed album with page protectors) and items from the week in life kit (2016, I think): 3x4 pack journal WITL cards unopened , chipboard set, 2 sets alpha, acrylic white hearts, 3x4 stamp set, washi tape, rubber embellishments, tiny sticker words and vellum 3x4 days of the week letters - it is just a missing a few items. Also, includes 2 Studio Calico puffy style sticker sheets. Opened to everyone participating in th crop. . I believe sleepingbooty will choose a random winner after the crop is over. . Please Note: album is in perfect condition - just glares from pic because of sun shining in. As an added note: I love this kit and used one for a cruise I went on for 5 days and it was perfect. Nice assortment of page protectors.

Darn, I have to shop, clean house, and cook for dinner guests on Friday, but after they're gone I'm checking in with all of you. And I'm going to finish a page and start another before heading to bed! Hold me to it!
All of Saturday and Sunday are still mine mine mine mine mine!

sleepingbooty, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. You are a better daughter than me. No way would I clean a house that made me sneeze and made my eyes water. justlisa7, what a generous gift you are donating. Thank you! Also, I will not be able to scrapbook on Saturday, but can do Friday night and Sunday. Maybe Saturday night. I will have to see how my energy level is that day.

justlisa7, that is very generous of you! I hope to scrap at some point this weekend. It always takes me a bit more effort to start again after a bit of a break and I have not put glue to paper since the last day of February. I printed off the March challenges today and I have my photos sorted. Not sure where to start. Picked up some cute St Paddy's day papers and sequins while I was away and I have a couple of cute photos to go with them. Maybe there... Need to take a look at KikiPea's sketches and the Sketchy Saturday sketches.

🌅 Bonjour fellow croppers!
It is 6:30 in the morning here and we are now just a day away from the crop. I have a busy day planned so everything is ready before the weekend but I'm so looking forward to spending time in here with you all. 😃
With less than 24h to go, time for a little check list so we're ready, willing and able.
☑️ Got photos? If not, can you get some printed before the weekend? If you're going digital, do you have the pictures for the stories you want to document selected and edited?
☑️ Got yourself a selection of goodies/page kits/crop kit? If you have a considerable stash and didn't get down to this step yet, it might be wise to start pulling a few things that will work well together just so everything is easier and you don't lose your mojo. If you're hesitating or unsure, think about using your new purchases! Might as well dig into them while they're still fresh and exciting.
☑️ Got some time carved out? There are no rules or obligations when it comes to this crop: you come and go as you wish and per your schedule. Even if you can only play along for an hour or two, it's all good. Don't feel guilt or shame over how much time and energy you can dedicate to this event. It's meant to be fun so don't put too much pressure on yourself. However, if you have busy weekends, it might be a good idea to make sure you have a moment to yourself to come scrap along and chat away. What can you do in advance to help yourself for the crop? Meal prep? Stock up on some frozen meals? Let your loved ones know you are taking some time off between XX am/pm and XX am/pm? Arrange for your SO to pick up the kids after practice?
☑️ Got snacks? Let's get real here: food is a must. Did you find good finger food that won't mess with your paper projects? Are you allowing yourself a bit of a treat? Maybe you could buy yourself a nice bottle of wine or plan a coffee run at some point?
The three days of our online crop will include daily prompts + themes + challenges, loads of encouragement, musical interludes, banter and fun. You can do your own thing or play along and try to complete some challenges or draw some inspiration from the prompts. Our only goal here is to get everyone scrapping while having a great time! ✂️
Let's kick this weekend off a little early and share our personal goals for this crop! What do you wish to achieve? Do you have a particular project you want to tackle? Or are you going to follow your scrappy flow as you go?

Thanks everyone for the kind wishes and thoughts for my mother. She is recovering well although there is talk about possible surgery to add a plate to the bone. We will see. Until then, I'm making sure her fridge is stocked up, her PJs clean and the TV fully operational so she can knit and rest. 🌼 angel97701 Photos are such a pain to edit and sort through, I feel you. So glad you managed to work through them and are ready to get scrappy! I bet you have a lot of pictures to play with after 8 years. justlisa7 You are such a sweetheart for offering this beautiful crop gift! 💖 There's also a 12x12 mini kit up for grabs. Winners for both will be drawn randomly at the end of the crop. I'll be reminding people to enter for the draw through the weekend. msliz Oh, we'll be holding you to it, don't worry! 😀 Have loads of fun with your dinner guests Friday. cristelina I hope you will be able to join us at some point. Energy levels before scrappy fun though: don't overdo it. Health first. But you're always welcome to just pop in and chat away if you're not feeling well enough to get crafty. Don't hesitate! 😊
grammadee Glad you are home safe and well after your trip. It's always tricky after a little break, I agree. But you'll be scrapping away in no time, I'm sure. Thank you so much for offering to help out with the forum stuff, by the way. I'll reach out to you via private message if needed if that's ok with you. 😉
dasmith2 Yay, look forward to seeing you in here! 👍

gramma how exciting! sleepingbooty I'm glad to hear your mum is on the mend. justlisa7 this is such a generous prize! I'll be working on some travel pages. I have an 8x8 currently on my desk with photos all printed and a mess of supplies all around. My goal is to work a little more on it over the weekend. I just learned I have a family thing on Sunday and I'm out Friday night for a work event but I'm hoping to squeeze in some scrapping between.

I looked at my to-do list, and I might have a little free time on Friday morning, so I'll be sure to jump in with you all for at least a short while. I'll be working on a Disney trip. I had no idea that kit was a prize package. I thought justlisa7 was sharing a photo of the kit she was talking about using this weekend that she mentioned in her page 1 post. It's a lovely kit. But did I miss the part where she offered it up as a prize? ETA: never mind, I see! Thanks justlisa7

I’m hoping I get to play, at least a little. Just got back from out of town late Tuesday night, had a decent, fairly relaxing day, until we had to rush one of our pups to the emergency vet around 11:30pm when he had a seizure. He’s never had one before, and it was SO scary!
Anyway, if I have time, I hope to scrap a little.

Well my crop weekend filled up so I won’t have as much play time as I thought I would My nephew was sick last week so my sister’s birthday gathering was changed to this Sunday. So I need to make a dish and it’s still 1 1/2 hours away. And now I have to take dh Saturday I have my scootering play date right in the middle of the day, of course. I’m also now supposed to go to my brother’s St Patty’s day party, but I don’t want to. It’s also Saturday and I want to play with you guys

justlisa7 - what a great prize! That was so sweet of you. KikiPea - I hope your pup is OK! One of my dogs had a seizure a few years back and it was. so. scary. I just sat on the floor and held his head and thought he was dying. He was elderly however, and it never happened again (he was fine. took years off MY life but he was fine). It looks like many of us are having our scrappy time this weekend "cropped" back by life I am certainly not looking forward to work this weekend - I just wanna play!

Hope your dog is okay, KikiPea . Did the vet say what had caused this? Thanks for the checklist, sleepingbooty . Photos & supplies: I printed the rest of my photos yesterday and have them all sorted now. Bought tape runner refills yesterday. Printed off the March team challenges plus the "regular" challenges for March and the Sketchy Saturdays so far. And I have found most of the things I need for my first page. I can also use those supplies for a couple of additional pages, and they work for some of the March challenges as well, so once I get started I should be able to roll with it. (Let's face it: I have enough scrappy supplies in here to scrap until the NEXT millennium). Time: This should not be a problem for me, b/c I am retired and don't have work commitments like kitbop . And no kids to care for, like many of you have. But I scrap best when I am with people who are all scrapping IRL or when I am alone with no distractions. Dh [might] be justified in thinking I should spend more time with him now that I am home from an 11 day excursion. We really need to set up a husband camp for weekends like this... I scrap best in the mornings, so hopefully I can get something accomplished Saturday and Sunday. Friday I have physio. Tomorrow I have physio, but hoping that Saturday morning will be a scrappy one for me.

So kind of you to make her comfortable. You're a good daughter. My pictures and supplies are all set and ready to go. I just need to get my food prep done and do some chores today.

Thanks for the good thoughts, y’all! JJ is home and resting. He didn’t have anymore seizures overnight. I transferred him to our vet this morning. They ran one more blood test on one thing they thought was concerning, but all numbers looked great. We got home, his brother greeted him, they went outside, played a little, went potty and are now napping. Wish I was! They have diagnosed him with Epilepsy. As long as the seizures are few and far between, he should be okay, and not need meds. I sure hope they are VERY far between!

1. Bsidecrafter 2. I /don't want the memento card 3. I don't want the French scrappy paper set (only 20-ish available)
I just got my first Wild Hare kit and back from a trip to Disneyland so I'll probably be working on that.
Also finishing up my Jan and Feb project life.

We really need to set up a husband camp for weekends like this... I scrap best in the mornings, so hopefully I can get something accomplished Saturday and Sunday. Friday I have physio. I have arranged husband/teen camp DH's brother and my nephew, and DH's best friend and his oldest son, are coming to hang out with my teens and DH for the weekend! I am making a huge lasagna tomorrow in preparation, and they can otherwise subsist on deli meat/subs and the brownies/cookies I will make. Leaving me to work and scrap in peace. The house will be a mess, but they will have a great time! grammadee , I'm a PT...I can give you a permission slip to play hooky from physio on Friday if you like. "To whom it may concern... Dee slipped and stabbed herself in the foot with her crafting scissors and cannot attend physio today". or maybe "Dee has a highly contagious illness called cropalitis and will be unable to leave her house for 3 days" Although, PT tends to be less effective if you don't go!!! KikiPea, glad JJ is home and fingers crossed for no more seizures. He is a cutie!

I’m going to try to participate. My youngest has a birthday this weekend so I’m going to be visiting family and celebrating but I’m going to attempt to sneak in some time.
I will probably be working on my December daily but part of me wants to just drop it until fall.

justlisa7 what a generous gift! I originally planned to work on some digital layouts. However I have been working on my son's camp album and I think I will continue and try to get that finished this weekend. I'm still not sure on how to post layouts so I may have to ask for help with that.

GOOD MORNING CROP-PEAS! Here we are then: it's already Friday for several of us. The crop has officially begun. I think most of us are working today so we'll ease into it. I should be off early today meaning I can come have some fun this afternoon already.
Plans for today: - hurry home ASAP when my day's done
- on the way home, stop at the local supermarket for some snacks and crop food - put on some happy music - start working on a few 2019 LOs
- plan out the cards I want to make this weekend
Weather here is lovely albeit a little cool. Blue sky, no clouds, sunshine pouring in and 15°C (59°F) at 8:45AM. We're expected to climb up to 20-21°C (68-70°F) today. I'll take it. Are any of the crop attendants in the path of the bomb cyclone? Sending you mild weather vibes!
Can't believe the crop is already here!
