Tim has come out with new spray stains...are they the same as his other stains that have the dauber and could we not just buy the spray insert and attach it to the old stain containers ? Anyone know? Thank you in advance...

Eta: yes you can. The daubers can be removed and it sprays perfectly well. I can't be sure about the spray inserts but I bet they'd fit any ranger bottle. I don't have an extra insert but just for kicks, I poured some distress stain into a Ranger mini mister, and went to town on a journal page.
I'm sure it's just the convenience angle to the spray mists. You'd either have to buy an insert for each bottle or clean it before changing colors. That could be a bit of a pain, but definitely less expensive

Thank you...I thought it was the same...I think you can buy the sprayer separate...and just screw it on the older bottles...

You're probably right. I'm sure the separate sprayers would fit. It's definitely worth a try.
