It was covered with peanuts and it had mini chocolate chips too. Caramel apples are a fall thing here, and today, even though it's rainy, it finally started to feel like fall. Without using the word "pumpkin," what's a little silly something special you only do in the fall ?

Without using the word "pumpkin," what's a little silly something special you only do in the fall ? Lol. Can I say "__________ Spice Latte" from Starbucks? I didn't actually *use* the word. Otherwise, I'll also say sweaters and my favorite hooded sweatshirt. Yes, I guess I wear the same sweaters in winter. But in winter they're always under a heavy coat. For me, Fall is walking the dog in a nice cozy sweater, or hoodie with the hood pulled up, maybe a scarf or hat, crunching the leaves on the ground.... And the key thing is that I'm totally comfortable in that. I'm not freezing to death like in the winter.

I'll forgive the use of the "P" word, but only because I'm right there with you on the sweater thing! I have a favorite cozy sweater too. And I need to add one more too for my mom. She loves the rust colored mums. Not the burgundy. They have to be rust.

I've already had hot chocolate, a cheeseball shaped like a "p" word, deviled eggs that had eyes and devil horns, Stayman apples (my favorite) baked sweet potatoes, and I have gotten out my hoodies and washed them and they are ready to go when it gets cool enough.

It's supposed to be 95 degrees later this week, I can't think of fall until at least November. BUT, when it cools down I'll start making big pots of gumbo and filling the freezer with easy meals.

I buy a coat. I wait until our "winter," which actually gets pretty cold, to wear it, but nevertheless, I LOVE coats. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE SWEATERS, so I buy some light sweaters. And boots. I've bought 2 thus far. You probably ask yourself, WHY DO YOU LIVE IN MIAMI if you like coats so much? Cause I hate the snow, I hate the SUPER cold, I hate the never feeling warm enough yet sweaty from all the layers kind of feeling. Our Winters are cold, but dry. And, they don't last very long. I think coats look hot. [giggle]

Making apple crisp, seems like a fall food for me.
Putting on my jeans and boots for the first time after a long summer.
Sweaters and cardigans.

I have had 2 carmel apples so far... (just wanted to say that when I was typing in FAR, I accidentally typed FAT. Mistake or???) Love fall, my favorite time of year, we are starting to get some good fall colors. Probably within this next week. Hopefully, we will have some nice days to enjoy it.
