Does anyone else marvel at howwww FAST a thread can become two, three, four, pages whereas other threads "die" a very early death?

No way. And LOL because that’s the kind of thing I will remember 15 minutes after I’m all comfy in my bed, and think: “Oh crap, is that chicken still sitting out?” then have to drag my tired butt downstairs to check and make sure it was put away.

No probs, fine by me. I really don't understand why people would chuck it. As long as it's cooked, it's fine by me.....ex survivor of Gillian Barrera sydrom, caught from campaflora.

No probs, fine by me. I really don't understand why people would chuck it. As long as it's cooked, it's fine by me.....ex survivor of Gillian Barrera sydrom, caught from campaflora. I had food poisoning a couple years ago... actual, real, confirmed food poisoning, not just a sick tummy. I was very ill for three weeks, and it was closer to five weeks before I felt close to normal again. It was absolutely awful. I have since been very paranoid about making myself ill again, or even worse — my family. So paranoid that I even took everyone’s chicken away from them at dinner a few nights ago because I was suddenly overwhelmingly anxious that I hadn’t cooked it properly. I will usually eat almost anything and tend to be cavalier about “best before dates” but I confess I toss meat out all the time because I just can’t face the thought of shitting water for three weeks, ever again. And honestly, I feel like my digestive system has never been quite the same since... I seem to be way more prone to stomach viruses and other problems than the rest of my family is. I did take probiotics, etc afterwards for quite some time.

I’ve had food poisoning once, when I was 22. I’m 46 now, and won’t chance anything like chicken left out overnight based on that one horrific experience.

Not with bones...and it would depend how long it had been without refrigeration. But he has been known to eat from cans in recycling and stuff he finds on the street. I think my dog is part disposal.

Ha I’m going to be the lone person. I would reheat it/incorporate it into something that’s cooked (such as a soup) and eat it.
I know plenty of people who eat leftover pizza that was left in the box on the counter. I don’t see how this is much different. The rotisserie chicken was already completely cooked as well.
