Today's colour challenge is to do a layout or card using embellishments or a title that is the same colour as the background paper(s). You can choose any colours you like for this challenge. Please share your layouts here on this thread, and also the February Team Sharing & Commenting Thread if you're part of the team challenges, where you can add your points. I haven't had a chance to do a new LO for this yet, so I will share a couple of LOs that I've done recently for monthly challenges here: Here is a link to an article I found that has a few more examples: Tone on Tone Color BlockingAnd another link to a Pinterest board showing some more great examples: Tone on Tone Pinterest

Another interesting challenge. Love these pages from earlier months, AussieMeg. I may be able to use this with my canvases--if I ever actually start on them LOL. Thinking of lots of greens: paint, stenciled designs, sb pp, embellishments... But because I have not yet started and because each canvas will need 2 or 3 days to allow for drying between layers, this could take awhile...

Working on mine now Had photos without a predominant color scheme, and needed a fun idea, this was perfect. Finishing up by digging through my embellishment stash!

Here's mine. It's not a rainbow but it's blue on blue and fuscha and burgundy on pink.

The photos are 15 years old, have very little color so this was a perfect challenge to make a pretty page! I haven't used primas in forever . . . I have boys and lots of sports pages so it was super fun to create a girly girl page for a change!

Decided I should look at the 28-4-28 threads to check for layouts not posted in the Team Sharing thread. If you shared in the team thread, I've left comments there. AussieMeg, I know these are both older layouts. But they are both gorgeous! I had another layout of yours in mind for the day 1 lift, but may have to use one of these now.

There is so much to love on this one!! Is that print a piece of her dress? It looks like an exact match.

msliz, your layout is gorgeous. What a sweet photo. I love the variety of the embellishments you used for tone-on-tone. The hearts backed by black and white stripes makes them really pop. Perfection! Here is my Day 9 page. Be The Most Brilliant Color in the Box
