Love this post! Inspired me to figure out my log in and password so I could reply. Time for me to quit lurking, I read daily, silly not to post too!! My name is pretty obvious though. I volunteer for a lot of my grandkids activities/teams. In our smal town I am known as Grandma Linda.

Judy26, I didn't know that! I used to be KeepingQuinn on the old site, from when I scrapbooked pages for my daughter as a way of keeping memories. I don't remember when or why I changed it to Julee, but I recently spaced out the letters so my posts aren't searchable.

Post by Legacy Girl on Feb 14, 2019 19:51:21 GMT
Mine is taken from one of my favorite songs, Legacy, by Nichole Nordeman, and reflects my outlook on living life in faith. I used the lyrics in my signature line for a long time. Legacy also reflects my status as a legacy of my grandmother's sorority. I pledged the same house that she did 50 years after she pledged. It was wonderful to share that experience with her and is a source of pride and happiness in my life.
I want to leave a legacy, How will they remember me? Did I choose to love? Did I point to you enough? To make a mark on things I want to leave an offering A child of mercy and grace Who blessed your name unapologetically And leave that kind of legacy. ~Nichole Nordeman

@legacy Girl, that's one of my all time favorite songs!
Not well-traveled, not well-read Not well-to-do, or well-bred. Just want to hear instead, Well done, good and faithful one.

The shy one .... back in the day I was very paranoid about sharing my identity online. I didn’t want my scrapping id from Scrapjazz to be known or used on two peas, I thought I’d overshared there. I picked the shyone when one day on fb the meme that is my avatar showed up. Now I think everyone knows my scrapping id and therefore knows about me, plus my personal struggles with life and death have been shared here.

I brought my username over from the old Two Peas. There’s a book by Kay Redfield Jamison called The Unquiet Mind, that tells of the author’s personal struggle with bipolar disorder. I’ve never been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but “unquiet” seemed like a pretty accurate description of the chaos that’s often found inside my head (I overthink and overanalyze everything). That’s a great book.

Fun thread - I look forward to coming back to read through it (after I get through our taxes, yay).
My user name is just a word I like. Not really sure why I like it other than it is fun to say. My other favorite word is "serendipity" because it sounds happy and the meaning is happy!

p for Pam jynx because it sounds similar to my last name. In college, dh's nickname was "the jinkster" (not because of practical jokes, but because of last name). So I modified it a little for myself.

My name nysparkle was first created with my first email addy. I'm from New York and one of my cats had the name Sparkle. I used this name at Two Peas as well. My avatar back then was of my cat Lucy a Flame point Himalayan. I now live in NC with my darling dog Pearl whose picture is my avatar now. I really enjoyed reading everyone's posts. TFS!

Freebird... after lynard skynard's song (someone here once thought it was a chicken thing, that'd work too lol). I picked it because I wanted an anonymous name that if someone googled they wouldn't find me. I'd never be something like immahater2897MO that ppl could google and find all my accounts. LOL

Jay = first 3 letters of my name Fab = because I'm fabulous. I used to make my friends/employees call me Jayne Fabulous when I would prove myself right and it stuck.

I love the Wizard of Oz and all of it’s trivia. Judy is for Judy Garland and 26 is for the number of flying monkeys in the movie. Well, this is unfortunate. I have never seen the whole movie. I hated those monkeys. They scarred me for life. There were 26? I will never look at your name the same again.

I did a lot of extra jobs at school (like grade chair and doing the schedule for the school) so one teacher called me WandaWoman (instead of Wonder Woman) and it stuck.

My first name is Mary. Everything "Mary" has been taken in all its permutations all over the internet. I always hated my common name. I could never find items on the personalized items racks as they sold out so fast. Then I watched Steel Magnolias. I LOVE that movie! And Sally Field's character is named M'Lynn. When I changed ISPs, I had to set up a new e-mail address, and I used mlynn in it. When I found the new board, I used it for my user name.

Please keep in mind that I am NOT an artist. When I first started scrapping 20 years you ago scrapping was just starting to get popular and design choices were still limited. If I couldn’t find something I drew it myself. Since that was my name on the old board I just kept it.

God bless you! I have two. They are wonderful creatures, but five is a lot of action. If one had 5 boys and they each had one friend over that’s 10 bodies to feed. That’s a ton of chips and pizza isn’t it? My son would have 5 friends over at a time in the man cave and goodness knows what they were doing. Secret club meetings. There was a club fort and a handshake as far as I know. It was busy!!! AND our place was the hangout, since we had a 3 car garage converted to a rec room, with a pool table, foos ball table, pinball machine and a couple video game consoles (the kind like in arcades). We had to have 2 refrigerators in the kitchen and would go through 3 gallons of milk a day! Fun times. Now I have 11 grandkids, 9 of which are GIRLS!

This has been such a fun thread to read!
On the old board, I was Shelley36 for my first name and my age when I joined. When I found this board, I couldn't get that name to register, so I went with LuckyJune, which is short for LuckyJune13x2. I became the lucky mom of twins on June 13.

Mine is from a town where we lived. There were 3 of us in our social circle with the same first name but we all lived in different towns so I became Bonanza Terri. It was later just shortened to Bonanza. What?! Bonanza Oregon?
